The 4g63 can take some serious amounts of boost. Boost levels vary as standard from... 1.2 bar, 1.4 bar and the fq400 runs 1.8 bar. The mlr is full to the brim with idiots that don't know how to change a boost pipe but have huge spec cars, most of them over 400bhp are running at least 1.8 bar on various turbos and some of the big power cars are running 2.5 bar on billet wheel'd turbos :wack:

Mapping is happening next Monday evening, I can't wait. I got the Team Dynamics wheels on today as I bought new tyres for them that arrived today too. The car is filthy as its covered in dust from being on the ramp for so long and the wheels are covered in the same crap plus the bead seal stuff they used for fitting the tyres getting everywhere. I'm much happier with the look of the car now, very understated, you'd never know its running so much power :D

Cheers, dude.

I was going to run the Federal 595rsr semi slicks, like I did on the S15 but seeing as winter is literally just about to kick in I bought Falcon 452's for it instead.

Thanks, mate. I really wanted a grey one and I searched high and low for nearly two months but the grey ones are very sought after, so command top money but they were all pretty much standard. I bought this car on the spot basically, and its literally only just cracked 38k miles, so it's seriously low mileage.

I've never really been a fan of silver but its starting to grow on me. I have actually thought about getting the car sprayed too, lol. I do need a couple of bits that want sorting out on the bodywork though but they'll probably wait till next year as I'm spending serious amounts of money on this car at the moment just to get it back to how it should be. I'll be keeping you in mind for possible jobs, Chris :D

More work happened this weekend... I went to Ikea and bought a load of crap I didn't need:rolleyes:

Apart from that I got my downpipe made up, the screamer pipe is currently venting to atmosphere and it'll be like that for the mapping but I'm going to get it routed into the downpipe as its just going to sound stupid every time the car hits boost. I've had to buy a slim line rad fan too as with the bigger turbo everything sits so bloody close to the rad. I'll have the get some pictures stored so you can see how close things are up front.

Anyway, mapping is happening tomorrow evening, we're headed out straight after work, I'm going to go for a goal of 2 bar but may try a bit more depending on how it feels. It's not exactly going to be slow though with a gt35r at that boost though:D. The main thing holding it back is the cams as they are indeed stock, so that'll be something to upgrade for next year.

I needed a new cabinet for my room, which I bought with a few other bits. It's crazy how much time you can spend in Ikea, we were there for nearly 3 hours :wack:

i hate spending money, believe it or not but, I'm happy with the results. Yesterday was spent sitting in traffic getting to Wembley, then the time inside Ikea, then the 6 mile journey home which takes on average 40 minutes...

i was actually mean to lower the car this weekend, that did not happen, lol.
