The car just passed its mot with no advisories. It did the same as last year on the brake test, literally threw the car out of the rollers because the fronts grip so hard :wack:

Not really an update, I just washed and waxed the car. Just waiting for the chance to get work done on the car, as I've been getting the money together for a few bits to be done.

Anyway, nothing particularly interesting to show, I just took a picture this afternoon as me and the miss' were heading out.

Cheers, mate. I keep having stupid thoughts of buying different wheels, but not sure what I'd want. You've got me hankering after a set of NT03's though :wack:

I need to stop window shopping everyday, which is basically what I do :D. I need to commit to getting the car setup up finally.

I just read through your entire post in one sitting - as I just couldn't stop!

Do the concave face rpf1s have much clearance to the front brakes or suspension with a 9" wheel? Are you running spacers on the front?

Congrats on the car!

My 18's are like that too.. sticky wheel weights foul the calliper if in the wrong place. Every wheel is different I guess.

I've finally got something to update on, but I'm kind of going back a few steps :wack:

I just got back from a 200 mile drive to pick this head up, it's pretty special :D

  • Skimmed head face
  • 3 angle valves and seats
  • Supertech Inconel, back cut, swirl polished valves (intake and exh)
  • Phosphor bronze valve guides (JW)
  • All new nissan seals, all threads chased etc
  • New Nissan rockers
  • Tomei Solid lifter conversion
  • Tomei solid 260deg cams (VVT can be used or removed) comes with VVT
  • Brian crower Titanium Retainers and Springs
  • Polished Exhaust Ports
  • Smoothed valve lips (In and Ex)
  • Smoothed (not polished) intake ports
  • Mirror polished combustion chamber (matched cc)

That head will rev to 9k rpm, awesome!
