Well I got hugely tired of getting in and out of bucket seats all the time so I took them out tonight and fitted all of the standard interior back in as the seats I got with the car are immaculate. It's bloody difficult getting a good picture in poor light of the interior of a car though, so I gave up. Instead I took a quick one of the dash

I also got my fpr a couple of weeks ago

I had an email off Mazworx tonight as they've got to modify the ID1000 injectors I ordered for my rail/plenum setup, so I'm not sure how long they'll take to arrive. Either way it's not an issue as the car isn't exactly going anywhere for the time being.

I do love them, I've had to space the front out a little more but I'm waiting for the spacers to arrive at the moment.

Ive had the car on the ramp all week with sorting things out. I took the old rear bumper off tonight as that had a scratch on it from some anus that hit my car and drove off. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the metal was underneath, theres no rust anywhere, so i got a few photos.

I got the new bumper on aswell, it fitted so perfectly, just like the front bumper when I changed that. I had the spats lying around too so I got those on aswell and they were a spot on fit, every line and crease matches up. I think they look alright without the skirts but I've got them to fit yet too.

I thought the same, super clean... Looking good....

The mod to the ID1000s is that just a size change as I know they come in four sizes or something else to get them to fit the rail.

Yes, mate. Mazworx actually emailed me after the order to make sure what I was after was correct as they classed it a peculiar size compared to their normal orders. I sent them a picture with my measurements and they agreed what is ordered was correct. I required 11mm feed with s 48mm long injector body.

Got it, I checked with them previously on what I needed to use for ID injectors with their manifold and they confirmed 14/60.

Your fuel set up should be spot on with all the hardware you have for it, nice.

That's the exact size they said, but.like you mentioned it was for their rail and plenum setup. Yeah, I should have enough fueling for way more than I'm going to need. You must be going bigger than the 1000's though, aren't you?

Yep i'm going for the ID2000s, I probably only need the ID1600 but as they are being discontinued better to go ID2000s plus they give me loads of headroom for running race fuel / E85 etc. I would have liked to have used VP Q16 fuel, but the ID injectors dont like Q16, so probably now VP100 instead.

I'm really not sure how much I need from the injectors for my final set up so i'm just going BIG:D

Just a shame the are double the price of the ID1000s, but........

The Scorch Racing (Ando Suzuki) S15 is runing silly boost (2.5kg/36psi) and using 1000cc Blitz injectors on a Hypertune manifold, so 1000cc injectors are good enough for 700bhp+ !!! proven, hahah.

Yeah, I read the spec of the Scorch car and he must be running a lot higher fuel pressure than stock to get that power from those injectors?... And of course race fuel.

My spacers arrived today and this is how you fit longer hub studs In 10 minutes :D

I didn't have a nut with the right thread pitch, so I had to make one, so it was probably 20 minutes.

I also test fitted the skirts. Now I've got them on I'm really unsure if I like them or not, I've wanted the aero kit fitted for bloody ages aswell! I think I'll have to get the car out in the open to have a proper look at it and make a decision...

The skirts finish off the Aero front and spats perfectly IMO. Would look a bit odd without them!

I didn't realise you had the Aero front too.. How did you manage to get hold of that?

I'm taking a mate with me today to finish fitting the skirts and I can imagine him telling me to fit them. I've had the Aero front bumper since summer last year Craig, And it's been on the car for about 5 or 6 months. The bumper never saw the for sale section as I'd asked the owner if he ever wanted to sell it I'd buy it and I had to drive 400 miles to pick it up in the end. I've had the skirts and spats for some time too but haven't really had enough time to get everything fitted in one hit.

Well, I pulled the car out of the workshop today. I took the rear spats off because I just don't like them, they make the rear bumper look really weird to me and I like the lines of it without them fitted. So that's the exterior finished for me, I'm happy with the way the car looks now, the skirts look much better with the Aero front bumper.

That's the car absolutely filthy, I'm going to give it a well deserved wash at the weekend.

Slight update, due to boardom of saving money for other things. I thought I'd try a different colour for the engine bay to break up the black rocker cover. I painted it in wrinkle finish black a while back but it didn't work well because it was so cold at the time the wrinkle finish ****ed up. I tried red this time and used a lot more care (hair drier:D), not sure if it'll look good as its not fitted yet.

Its so hard to get this paint to dry perfectly all over, I had to do a few coats to get it to the state it at now, and I still don't think it's perfect. I think I'll go at it some more tomorrow.

Looks very good mate, similar finish to the OE rocker covers on the Type-R Hondas.

You definitely need a bigger turbo though!! :wack:
