I e just received my wheels from the States, well excited :D. I wast expecting them till the end of February.

They're now a 9j for the front to get the dish effect that the 8 1/2j's currently on the car lack.

I've got some new 265/35 R888 tyres for the rear but I.may need to sort a flare on the arches to get them to fit as the 255's are knat's pubic hair away from the arch.

I've also got the throttle body off of Jez's S13 to use with the Greddy manifold

I've only bought the two as I've already got a full set on the car, I just wanted a wider pair for the front, they were £650 delivered for two 18x9j wheels without tyres. I bought them from Performance Alloys, who were bloody great.

Just checked for carriage, it's not listed. I'm guessing it's included in the price, as when I spoke to them on the phone they said they ordered them from Enkei U.S

Cool, that's a good price shipped. Will be interesting to see how they fit on the front, i'm hoping to get some oversize wings for mine but really I have no idea how wide I can go with the fronts...

I'm going to have to run some additional camber to get them to fit under the front I reckon, not too much I hope as they're only 1/2 an inch wider than the current fronts.

Cheers, fellas :)

I don't think I've added a picture of something else I've bought too. I got the GReddy short port plenum and GReddy billet fuel rail off AllanOrr a few weeks back too.

Im skint after spending so much on parts this months, plus just forked out for road tax and a flight to France to see the folks later this month. Just need to order the ID1000 injectors now and the fuel pressure regulator and the car should be ready to see some higher boost levels.

Quality gear and looks like a Tomei Cam Gear in the box as well. Cool....

ID injectors are definately the way to go, what's the plan for the TB?

The throttle body has already been sorted, Jez at Horsham developments has stripped his S13 by the looks of it so I bought the 60mm throttle body from it, I've had that for a couple of weeks. I was looking into getting the N15 tb but they're crazy money!

I got my new tyres fitted today, I'm now running 265/35 R888's on the rear. I had to remove the 5mm slip on spacer I was using because the side wall was catching on the arch as I came to lower the car onto the floor. The arch gap is so small it's silly :D

I wasn't sure if I'd notice an obvious difference between the RSR's and R888's but I found the 888's far more grippy and they only just start to break a bit of traction in 2nd gear now, where the RSR'S where spinning through all of 2nd gear, but they were a narrower tyre too at a 255.

I also painted a few more bits black, for an attempt at a stealthy engine bay, I've got a few more of the black silicone intercooler pipes I've got to fit yet. I can't seem to get enough light for a decent photo when I take a snap of the engine bay, if I had a chance to work on the car during the day that might help though.

They are semi slicks, Adam. I haven't driven the car with them on in the wet, but I've read the RSR's are better than the 888's in wet or damp conditions.

Arch gap, awesome :)

R888s very cool mate. I'm trying to find some Yoko Advan A048s for mine, no joy yet.

Engine bays looking good, as you say 'Stealthy'... :)

The new wheels are fitted but I hate the tyre fitment on the car. There's a blocky look on the rear from the R888's and a super stretch on the front from the 225/35 tyre on the 9j. I want to go back to the 255/35rsr as it looked better on the rear. My only conflict is the R888 is awesome in the dry but truly shocking in wet/damp conditions as I'll spin the rear wheels at high speed on boost with them, but had grip in 3rd occasionally with the RSR's.

I took this yesterday morning...

My flat mate wanted to take some pictures of our cars with a dslr? But failed on catching any detail, so you can't pick up the wheel detail at all. He got a bit better later on but there's no evidence of it.

That's me, but in my evening comfort attire :D
