Car is all blasted ! Dustless blasting it was not 🤣spent the whole day pretty much cleaning up the mess , won’t be doing that ever again ha ha
Thankfully didn’t find anything unexpected . Few bits here and there but generally a nice clean shell, excited to crack on .
She is booked in for the fab work end of next month then will be back with me to start cracking on with body and paint !

This was probably about 10% of the mess

I noticed that the guy from SR Autobodies puts seam sealer over every single little fold or seam on the car that he’s working on - such a simple thing to do but I guess when you’re actually producing cars every little penny counts.. Nissan designed some really weird creases and horrible moisture traps on these cars.

You’ll have to let me know if you don’t plan to use that intercooler sprayer button (unless you want to keep it of course)
Yeah it’s very silly : might will be getting the full works obviously ha ha
I think that will be staying with me for the time being at least . Tempted to try and get it working off the ecu somehow

Yeah best time to do that sort of thing!

You could sort that button out to do some cool stuff I reckon, maybe not limited to an intercooler sprayer

Ha ha yeah it has kicked up a notch now !!! I am considering stitch welding the underside , the bay will be seam welded as I’m having tubs and a removable tube front bar / slam panel made up for it.
Think it would be the time to do it while it’s clean bare metal for sure !

Great, I love build threads, especially the groundup one's.. Are you still keeping with your
original champagne gold colour for the paint job ?

Looks like a fancy gear shifter, how come it took so long to arrive?
Blokes just bloody useless mate . No updates , had to chase him so much to get them ! Didn’t replay to messages for days , said he had sent a set before and got lost ( although never sent tracking details or let me even know they had been sent ) just a useless guy lol shifters look sweet but I would never recommend them just because he is so crap to deal with
