Springs and retainers are needed as I have higher lift /duration cams . The valves I’m changing as I have seen oem valve stems snap over 500hp so just swapped them for same size but stronger

Just got a good deal on one of these too ! Twin internal walbro 450 , will be more than enough for what I need plus piece of mind having a back up pump

Parts arrived ! So glad I went for these bits , quality looks immense .
Really looking forward to getting this moving again soon. Bring on the engine build

Supertech full valve set including valve stem seals , valve guides and oem size valves , already have their springs and retainers and custom cams to match up to this
Radium engineering fuel surge tank for twin internal walbro 450’s , massively overkill but rather that than not have enough plus have the safety net if one fails or I need more fuel at high revs can have it turn on at certain range .
I also picked up some mazworx anodised black billet washers for the fixings around the cam cover

That's going to be awesome cant wait to see it! Do you have to run a different fuel tank as opposed to the oem one to run this kind of set up?

No mate you can use the oem tank , you run a line to the pot from it and use an in tank pump as a lift pump to supply the pot

Final part for the engine turned up at last !
Naprec strengthened timing chain. Hopefully get some pics of the engine soon: picking up the cam cover in the next couple of weeks so I can paint that then hopefully next pics will be of the complete engine !

Hopefully summertime bud , would be nice to have it back on the road in time for my birthday ! Only issue is everyone I need to do work on the car seems to be dragging their arses ha ha

Well dropped my valves etc off so all ready to rock and roll ! Getting the underside of the car and engine bay blasted then off for metal work , engine should be ready April/may so holding out hope it will still make the summer !

Engine all together will now be fully stripped and rebuilt , block etc will be bead blasted to make it look fresh can’t wait

Yeah bud the ve covers are nice looking for sure ! Yes I will be getting the cover in a couple of weeks , deciding on the colour atm will be either teal or white with gold pearl I should imagine

Ah sweet, teal would be cool - you don’t see many colours like that popping up. White is nice but it’s quite a common choice (on any rocker cover I mean). You going to stick the stickers on it like on the one in your photo or leaving it clean?

I am leaning towards the teal tbh as a nice contrast colour would look good against all the gold and black in the bay plus I have a nice teal flake I could use to make it a bit special .
I am considering stickers or maybe airbrush them on , depends on time more than anything as usual h ha

Not sure about shaving the lettering as yet . I may well do and then airbrush back on what I want , make it look 3D could be quite cool
The pearl gold I have is this

I’m using it on the underside of the car and parts of the dash too so could tie it into the cam cover too.
The teal I have is similar to this depending on which base I use
