Do you know if it was running coilovers or stock suspension? Given +12 is supposed to only move the wheel in 5mm closer to the coils I would've thought it'd be ok (small spacer at worst)? At stock ride height even with wheels poking way out the guards they shouldn't hit the arches at all? What work do you think would be necessary?

I have 18x9 +38 at the moment, and they just clear the tein coilovers by half inch.
9.5 +12 would stick out 20mm more than my setup, so they will definitely clear the suspensions, but you would need arch rolling and I guess some pulling too?

Anyway at stock ride height I don't think you'll have any problem
My thoughts exactly. Unless I lower significantly with coilovers then there's no harm with the tyres poking out the guards a little. They still shouldn't hit the arches in bends I would've thought...

Even if the wheels hang out a bit on the rear it's okay, as they tuck in as they go through their arc.

Hey guys im new to this forum haha.

I'm thinking about getting XXR 527 with the following specs:

17 x 8.25 +25 Front
17 x 9.75 +25 Rear

On coilovers and going to roll the rear guards.

what do you guys think? will they fit and how will they fit? cheers :)

Eiden88 - Really like your setup. Very similar to what I'm aiming for.

Does anyone know if 18in 9.5in +12 will fit front and rear for an S15 with stock suspension? Hoping to run mildly stretched 235-40 up front and 265-35 at the rear.

The below calculator suggests I'll have 5mm less inner clearance to the springs and wheels will be pushed 71mm further out the guard from standard 16in wheels. Sound about right?

Hey man, I'm rollin on 18x9.5 ET12 but with BC coils. On the inside towards the coilover is no problem. But I've rolled my arches quite hard. And setup is 2.25 degree camber at front and 4.25 at rear. Just to get them to fit, rear camber is a bit to much. Gonna go maybe 3.5 just to get a nicer flush.

Thanks for that Mange. Nice stance on your car but def a bit too much camber. If you didn't tuck your car so much you'd be able to reduce the camber to something closer to 1.5 degrees I would've thought..

Depends on your height, I had 17x8 +12 with 235s but had it silly low and needed quite alot of negative camber to make it work.

do you guys have any recommendations for rota grid sizes ? and varrstoen 2.2.1 wheels ?

Hi Guys

I'm breaking my posting virginity! (on this site anyway)

I have an S15 That has stockies on it at the moment and is lowered on Tien coilovers (not sure How much it's lowered at the moment as I have just bought it)
I would like to put these on http://www.ebay.com/itm/ENKEI-RP03-...Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ae4dc4f68&vxp=mtr

I know you guys probably won't be able to help that much as I haven't given that much detail, but any help would be appreciated :)

ive decided to roll my guards -

my rims are
17 x8.5 + 30 all round
im using 225/45/17 all round at the momment as well
can i use 245/40/17 at the rears? or is that pushing it ?
realistically should i just be using 235/45/17 at the rears?

http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

here i can see a bit of flex on 245/40?

So you are asking if a 245 on that rim will fit on a 8.5j rim? Well yea it will fit. Personally for a 8.5J rim I wouldn't run anything bigger than a 235/40. Seems like a 245/45 you would get a lot of tire roll. But it all depends on what type of look and feel you are going for.
