Thats a good question, i think its really all down to the tune with the pistons ray. Phil morrison ran 400bhp for a full drift season on a standard engine so they can take punishment. Personally id be more worried about a rod breaking with the extra power higher up in the revs to be honest? Once it doesnt run lean the pistons will last, and if there is an issue then theres always the option of saving for a nice hks 2.2 stroker and a new gearbox setupI'm sure 1.3 will see your there. But I suppose better to map it to the highest boost then dial it down to what you need. Wish I can do that dam boost creep what ever you at it just goes up. I want plenty of pics of the machined turbo and head. BTW you know when the standard piston might start going?
