the only thing i hear that is different from the original is on startup, it sounds slightly tinny but its the starter motor on the new flywheel. Ray i rekon mine could have held a while longer but it was my own fauld for driving it like that lol

AFAIK
Orc does the 409 clutch with a number of choice to suit your needs.

like they can have your clutch with damper or no damper.
they also do them in silent or noise type.

if your getting weird sound when you have the clucth in it perfectly fine, you just got the noise type one.

think nengum.com sell all the different types check there site to see what i mean.

Rob if i got a 2way i'll be driving the way you do haha..
nice video btw

slammedmind,

What do you think to the Tein Super Streets? I have been looking at changing my APEX ones and I have a buyer for them already.

Why are they wearing a bra at all? :D

I have Tein SS and I am throughly happy with them. They have been modified for Aus conditions with slightly softer rear springs and valving, but our roads are crap.

Chris, :D :D :D

BTW, are you using pillow ball on your Tein SS? I was advised against it for a daily driver...

Pazz to be honest theyve served me very well and are a great setup for a daily driver, im looking into the tein flex or a set or yashio or cusco coilovers next as the superstreets were a bit soft for me on track to be honest.

and just to add to the update ive managed to fry the orc release bearing and need to replace it after the last trackday....

well after driving the car for the last few days the clutch seems fine and the bearing hasnt bothered me at all. I have however developed a miss under full load at 5500rpm for some reson, took out the coilpacks and used contact cleaner on the plugs and contact points and while i was in there decided to change the ncvs solenoid for a new one.

new

dying of the flu and ive got so much work to do on this car its unreal :D

nope still having an issue with the missfire at the minute so threw in a new set of plugs today and checked the colipacks and connectors for moisture. Havent driven the car yet tonight but ive a sneaking suspission that my fuelpump might be dying if its not spark related

I would think its one of the coils playing up if its under load and its not a uncommen problem. are urs the standard or splitfire ones?
