Mot will go without a hitch I suspect. All the wear items are new - to be honest i can't see him wanting to touch the thing lol. Just found out today I made a schoolboy error and had the fuel feed and returns plugged on the wrong way so I swapped those over, also had my propshaft checked and rebalanced as I have had vibrations at certain revs ever since fitting the hyper single. Turns out Jez had refitted the prop 180 degrees out on the middle and I always thought it was a result of going from dual mass to single mass.... Annoying thing was when I spotted the vibration first time and took it all the way back to him I suggested prop fitment and he dismissed it as not being the cause. Had he just swapped it back in five mins I'd have had a perfect car again..... Turns out now, once a year I have to refit the cat and remove the front bumper to get into my local (trustworthy) mot mans garage lol - no biggy but still a nuisance...

is a nuisance but what can you do!!
jez missed a few things on my car when i had him do some work too, seems all the "best" places arent that great,my dff from garage d was knackered after 3k km hard to find people to work on your car thats why its best to do it yourself!!
did sumo quote you a price for your allignment?or is it down to how long it takes?

Dean when you say the prop was out by 180 degrees in the middle what do you mean? Do you mean where the 2 halfs of the prop join it was joined back together through the wrong holes?

I had to fit my cat for the MOT, its still on now as I really cba to swap it back lol also it may just be in my head and my granny driving but I think im getting better mpg with the cat on :p

Yes mate. The prop Is probably balanced as a whole piece and weighted as such. If you are a hole out in the middle for example the icing will develop imbalance. As for the cat, it's your choice. I'm mapped on a different setup all together and tbh a cat probably wouldn't last long with a full 3 inch exhaust. They are a restriction after all......

Im glad I didn't take my prop apart in the middle as I managed to loose track of what holes align on the diff end, even though I cable tied 2 of the same holes!..I ended up forgetting and while painting the diff I cut it off :annoyed: Mine seems fine though, not getting any annoying vibrations etc thank god!

Might even take the trip to sumo power then if that's a standard price for everyone
