Looking good Yakozan  looks like you've been busy, i'll have to look at your pics to keep me going till i get mine :D
Thank you. The last week has been busy.
Started to fit my boost controller today to :)

Then there's only the fuel pump remaining before taking the car out :) Ohh. And the snow must clear to.
It looked like this a couple of days ago and that's just not good enough.

That was the warmest day in several months. And the sun showed itself to :D
It's colder now and it's started to snow again

I have major grip-problems with my 90hp Volkswagen on studded wintertires.
Don't think the S15 on summer-tires would be any better ;)

EDIT: I acctually was going to get the car out for a test-run and wash the day of the photaos as the roads was partly clear of snow. But there was a damn Lancia with no wheels on the way so can't get the car out of the garage.

We put him in the middle of the garage because he had no plans to the car during the winter. Then he started to dissmantle stuff randomly with no plans on what to do
So there it is. A fiat-wannabe blocking the way for 2 Nissan turbo-cars :(

Took the car out for a spin a couple of days ago :D
Crazy wheelspin in first and second. didn't try third as it's uninsured at the moment.
Didn't drive long either as I had no plates on or anything :D

Most of the snow have cleared from the roads. But there is plenty of ice now instead because of the temp changes during night and day :(

ordered a new ventilation air filter from perfectrun and got myself some Nismo clear side winkers at the same time

Couldn't help myself really. My aftermarket goodies is starting to dry out in the garage so need more ;)

Edit: And there we go. It's snowing again

Internet is back up at home now :)

Some pics of the latest.

Front dismounted again for painting the washer bottle.

Oh look. It's a black washer bottle.
Now it doesn't stand out so much in the front like it used to without the stock plastic mesh.
Have only fitted it with cable ties at the moment so it's loose. will have to fit it properly later.

I discovered that my elbow is leaking a bit.
My fault as I didn't tighten the bolts enough. It makes a pretty funny slurping sound when on boost :)

May have to do it the proper way and have the whole turbo removed :(
Will try to do it without removing the turbo first.

Liking the black washer bottle :) May do that when I fit the new bumper
Do it. :)

No luck with the exhaust leak. refitted the elbow, but it's still there. Found that there is a very small amount of oil leaking from the oil relocation kit also

Damnit. If I'm really unlycky it's the manifold which is leaking.

I've been asked to put my car out on a carshow this weekend http://www.streetcarsfest.com/html/english.html

So I have to get the car there tomorrow, and then It'll stay there for the weekend.

I'll fix the oil leak (retighten the hoses will probobly do it) and ignore the leak for now.
Thank god the oil-leak is from the upper adapterplate :) I'm pretty sure which hose it is also.

busy busy busy.

I too have been asked to attaned a show - http://www.knockhill.com/events/motorfair.php
Oh and your's have got tanks in it :)

Should maybe have written a how to when I did the washer bottle mod.

Well it was pretty straight forward.

1. remove front bumper. (be carefull with the clips on the inner fender)
2. remove washer-bottle. (empty it after removed)
3. sand down the surface of the bottle. (not to much as that will leave a hole in it ;) )
4. apply plastic primer. (on the washer bottle that is)
5. spray away with paint. (see above)
6. lots and lots of clear coat. (on the washer bottle after the paint has dried)
7. refit washerbottle. (do it)
8. refit front bumper. (refill bottle after front is mounted)
9. Look at your new stealth water bottle. (Can't you see it? Good!)
10. smile.
11. take pictures.
12. start a washer bottle thread and post the pictures from "11".
13. discuss who did the blingest washer bottle in the thread you created in "12".

:D

Those are my Swedish plates. The pics in the sig is old.

The car looks shiney from a distance. It badly needs a pro-polishing after the garage abuse it recieved this winter. Didn't have time to polish it and I don't have the tools and is to scared to use the good ones to do it properly.

I use a double headed polish machine with autosmart polish and wax.
really easy to use and leaves a pretty good result. Only takes about 2 hours to do a car.

Gets rid of most of the small whirl marks and scratches.
But for nastier stuff a good single headed rotating one is needed. These can burn through the paint if you're not carefull.

I will most likely get the car done by a pro later when I've finished with my exhaust leak. It has grown worse now when I refitted the turbo-elbow
Might try and get a new turbo to elbow gasket. I just hope it isn't my engine to manifold gasket.

Now the turbo and manifold is off :)
It was indeed my turbo to manifold gasket which needs replacing.

Will pick one up on monday and later in the week I'll get my braided turbo-hoses :D
