Guys:

I am planning on having Lau (Pit Works) tuning my car within the next week or so. As most of you know he tunes on the road. I personally would prefer a Dyno only because if your get a marginally higher RWHP output on one run to another and you may or may not be able to "feel" it. Say if it’s like 325rwhp vs 318rwhp, you're basically relying on the two people's "gut instinct" who are in the car at the time. Plus you have no dyno chart, and you all know you love the dyno chart.

Long story short, if anyone wants to tune/dyno their car now's a good chance. Looking for one/few people to share the cost on renting the Dyno machine for the day for Lau to do the tuning on. Cost of the dyno I have been told is around RM200-RM300

If there are any people here interested please pm/reply with your name and number and I'll work out a price per car based on the number of people who's interested. Please reply back here ASAP.

Thanks.

I wouln't mind going for a Dynorun again :p But the cost of rental is per hour. So it all depends on how long it takes your car and if there is extra time available for others to have a go on a dyno run. I hope it's just for fine tuning. I've seen some cars do a full tuning on a dyno and took ages :S My old Nissan project took 3 hours :p

What we could do is try to propose a block booking for a certain number of hours and do a S15 dyno run day. That way each car would pay a cheaper rate than the usual RM100 :) How colin? Let's discuss when we meet friday :)

Agreed Cross.

I actually wanted to clarify, Lau is doing a street tune at one price, then I am going to see if we can book out a Dyno for the "fine tuning"/power run. Spoke to Lau and he said there should be enough time to do one more car after mine.

However, there have been a slight turn in events for my car, I'll speak to you guys about it this weekend, actually i will have a major rant about it. Slightly upset i am!!

Hey hey... I'd just sorted my turbo leakage... the bolts were loose and the gasket was vegetable. Thanks to Lau again I can regain full boost. However the shaft play shows the turbo had its days. Yes we will discuss this Friday nite as usual yes?

Nick, If its for your car with GT-RS, go for minimum 555cc... stock inj may not be enough for the kind of power you are playing

I sms'ed the dude last night and asked for $350 he said ok. Thanks for the advise dudes, now I have an extra $50 for RON97 lol.

Yeah I've got like 850cc injectors in my car atm. I was going to go for 555cc or there abouts but N1 advised me at the time if I did intend to change turbo or opt for more power at a later stage it better to go with larger injectors as the price wasnt much of a difference. More of a prep thing I suppose.

Sidefeed injectors, still using stock rail though, RM1600 for 4. I was inquiring about the Nismo and/sard and these were the cheaper option as I didnt have to change the fuel rail. Frigen cant remember the brand right now, been staring at the montior trying to remember for 5 mins now...... I just had the myob support dude in here trying to sort out.....brain is toast!!!!!

BTW I rang up the guy, he's from Penang FFS now i gotta go to the post office too. Frigen shouldda asked for more money!
