FS: S15 Carbon Cooling Panels

I havent attached it to the bumper as it wouldnt reach the hole if I did! It also had to be cut a bit to go around the hotpipe. I made a bracket up and used a few cable ties to hold it in place.

Its not ideal but its ok for the effort put in! It would be awesome to have something going from the bumper all the way up to the hole though! :thumbs:

Yeah, thats the plan. Theres no point making the 'scoop' out of CF though as you'll never see it, and the CF is only there for show, not strength.


It will probably have to be made in 2 parts and joined together when it comes out of the molds. I'll draw up some plans over the next few weeks and put the ideas on a new thread for peoples opinions

No mate, I'll let you know nearer the time and we can sort it out then. They will be more expensive than the CF ones as the material costs more and is harder to work with.

Just had an e-mail and there has been a problem with the mould. Heres basically what the e-mail said..

We have had problem with the gelcoat reacting to the wax on mould. We have stripped mould and are using a different release agent and if this doesn't work we will look at making a new mould with epoxy. Will let you know result by the weekend

Sorry about this guys. If anyone's not happy about waiting a bit longer just let me know and I'll send your money back. They will definatly get made sooner or later though. :nod:

Count me in for the heat shield but I have a HKS Mushroom filter so I think the air box is out.. Let me know how much extra the cooling panel is and the heat shield mate....:thumbs:
