Craig did you find it annoying and hard when everything had to be plated together and you get a mixed bag back?

I have contacted a few places near me and they say to keep costs down they all need to be done together else doing individual loads will cost quite a lot..

Just wondering how you coped with sorting them afterwards as theres a lot! :|

Not really, no. As I took the parts off the car, I took a photo of them next to a ruler and a note of what they were - I ended up with about 50 pics of nuts and bolts! A lot of them are the same though.
When all the parts came back it probably took me 20-30 mins to sort them out and bag them up individually. It's well worth doing though, they come back better than new. That photo isn't too good at showing how good they look. Minibatch plating is where I got the smaller bits done. I think the heat shields were done at Bob's plating - or something like that! I called places out of yellow pages asking if they could do the large parts until I found one that could.

If your doing all this work, it would be criminal to not get the subframe and arms rebushed and powder coated too ;)

Cheers :)

Yeh I think the kit Energy do (Rear control arm bushings) comes with them all, I count 16 bushes you get and thats how many are needed to do everything I think including all the rods and lower arms.

Theres 12 control arm bushes (assuming you have standard arms - 3 in hubs, 3 in arms), 4 lower arm bushes, 4 subframe bushes and 4 diff bushes, 2 ARB bushes - so total of 26 on the back end in total

Yeh ill get it all from Energy except the diff bushes which ill get solids from driftworks for an extra £80! I would just get it all from energy and save a bit of money but you said the fitment wasnt great on the energy diff ones, so to save hastle ill go with solids :)

The energy diff bushes fit well, but the front ones alter the angle if the diff. Apex solid bushes are cheaper than DW ones mate. I used Apex front solid diff mounds and energy poly rears!

I don't think so. They make the front of the diff sit at a lower angle but only by around 5mm or so. It just means there is slightly more stress and a slightly larger angle between the driveshaft and diff input. I've read of people geting them machined down so they sit at the same angle but I went for a hybrid setup with solid fronts and poly rears. Newer Nissans have solid diff mounts now, and theres no reason I can possibly think of why you would want rubber diff bushes, other than noise supression.

I only asked because I have bought deans energy diff bushes don't really want to put extra stress on the diff so maybe something I will have to look into then cheers mate.

Contemplating removing the front fogs now and fitting OE blank mesh plate. What do you reckon - with or without?! :)
