FS: S15 Carbon Cooling Panels

I'll be doing some in carbon kevalr too once the CF ones are finished. There is a difference between the 2 materials - kevlar is a lot stronger than CF and much better at absorbing impact damage.

Also anyone can make anything out of carbon/ Carbon kevlar and it will only be slightly stonger than fibreglass. the trick is how you heat it, this is where the strength comes from.

Heating it helps the curing process if you do the vacuum bagging process. Vacuum bagged items are much stronger than wet layed parts as the strength is actually coming from the CF father than the resin.
These panels are made using a simple wet layup so the strength of them comes mainly from the resin and fiberglass backing - the CF/CK is purely for looks.

As soon as it's made! As I'm sure you know, I've had lots of problems with them but we're finally geting somewhere now but progression is slow so bare with me. If you don't want to wait you can have your money back.

I've been away last week so apologies for the slow reply. I'll have the long awaited news this week for definite. If not or if it's not good news I'll be cutting my losses and sending everyone's money back as I've had enough of it now TBH Just got too much on my plate at the moment to have this to worry about too.

Just had word and they are defiantly a go-er! We are going to make ANOTHER mould but it will be a super strong perfect one that will last for as many panels as we want. I'll keep this updated but I think the next real update will be within the next 2 weeks with pics of the final mould. Once we have the mould sorted for good they will be made at a steady rate but I'll have to take them to a different place to get trimmed up etc. If anyone wants one doing in Carbon Kevlar instead of CF then that's fine, just let me know. Cost will be about £20 more due to the extra cost of the CK material.


Once again I'm really sorry for the massive delay and thank you everyone for being so patient and trusting, it is appreciated.
