Hi Matt S,
Thanks for your valuable info, I don't know that there is such wheel Hubs that comes with little box that have the capability to fool the A/bag ECU. Mind if you kind enough to tell me what brand is the said product, roughly how much it cost & where can i purchase it...???

In Malaysia, we can hardly get hold of these tacky gadgets....
Not as advance in UK..

Thanks in advance..
Nismo make them mate and HKB Sports :) (among others)

Heres a link I just found for a 'short' boss - some foks dont like them too close, but in my experience, if youre running a flat wheel (as opposed to a dished design) I dreccomend the full depth boss rather than this short one :)

Thanks for the prompt reply... Appreciate it..:D

Currently I'm using a 330mm MOMO flat wheel with 60mm aluminum spacer & a steering quick release kit on a full depth boss therefore I've sit a little far back. With this short boss, for me it'll be "one stone kill two birds" thingy. Enable me to sit closer + up right position & at the same time, get rid off the blinking ABS light. Awesome...!!!!

Thanks again ya....

Cheers.

Tikus Bahaya, thanks for d compliment, I do ok only... Teach..?? NO MAN...!!
"SHARING" is the word. Sharing some of my experience & know how after clocking thousands of laps at Sepang Circuit with any Silvilian blathers who is interested only....

Btw, you've improved comparing your 1st lesson with me.. You have recognized all the corners, however, need to sharpen up a bit more on your judgment for corner entry point, braking point & lining. I notice you starting to get the hang of left foot braking but still more work out needed. You have yet to utilize the whole track, still turning in with a little too much steering input. Try to take a wider line, using every inch of the track to minimize the steering turning radius in order to prevent under steer happen & at the same time you can preserve your tires better.

In the wet, you start to understand a little the " Dynamic Drifting " technique. Some ppl call it " Liff Off Drifting ". You are currently using "Power Over" technique thru out most of the tight corners..due to the surface is slippery, your tail comes out easily as you are using semi slick rubbers on wet condition but u've almost found the correct time to gas on... but more work out needed to gain Master status, well, at least it's a start. Way to go...bro. Next track day, we try this on dry condition yaa... It'll be a bit scary at 1st but once you get the hang of it, it'll switch from fear mode into fun mode...:smitten:

In a wet condition, "yes" sliding around is fun. But bare in mind, if you can keep it very clean & tidy during braking + accelerating.. the lap time will be more stunning. Clean & Tidy make the time. Next track day, if 2nd half rains, we'll go for max clean & tidy method.

If got time, I'll show u how to take a defensive line when there is a tailgator all over your back yeahhhh.....

Yo Blather Colin,
hahahahahahahaa... Next round most probably you have to either sit in my car or follow me coz my car will be out by then... Being a passenger while watching you guys tearing the tarmac of Sepang apart & not getting the opportunity to do it myself is not a good feeling at all.....Can't wait to thrash my newly built engine & turbine.. It's time to "UNLEASH THE BEAST"..

Another way to learn fast, is to pick any faster car in front of you.. . Take note of where & when he/she brakes, when/where/how he/she turns in.... do exactly what he/she does.. You'll pick up trick...

On December 12th, we celebrated Diablo's (a.k.a Arun) 21st birthday at Blackhole, Hartamas.
All was good, till he said he never got drunk before. So the challenge was on.
More beers came, by the jugs, a flaming lamborghini, and the killer, a Graveyard.

This was the outcome at around 12ish-1am.

Whistle... finally got to see your car on the road Nick  although not up to full throttle yet. You have to give us 1 minute lead time on that stretch after you have run in. Pics please!

You must have driven through the line of fire of the illegal drag race at a R&R last nite? We KPC abit but had to scramble like madmen when the cops came LOL ...

Colin,

Pics will be up shortly. haha.
Still a long way to go la to make it perfect. The pursuit of perfection !

Yesterday you guys bullied me as all of you overtook me at 250-280km/h ! *cries*
And it was really scary going slowly thru the R&R with hundreds of eyes looking at us.
I left cause it was late and its very dangerous to hang around there,
the people there plus there's bound to be cops who would come.

Oh yeah, I took 1 for the team yesterday at Shell Kelana Jaya. hahaha.
Expensive to go rounding with you guys la .. haha. 1700km to go.
After this, will be going cruising with my friend's Skyline. He also need to run in his car.

See you guys soon.

Here's something you dont see everyday. My oil filter disected just after 4000km including HPC. Oil is Castrol Edge Fully Synthetic 5W40.

The sediments clearly seen settles at the bottom

Here's a close-up on the metal wear from my SR

It may look scary but everytime I took the filter apart, it has the same amt of sediments. You can try and see yours as well. Dont throw away the oil filter in your next oil change. I'm curious as well how a newly built internals will look like in the filter.

We can do another "cruize" either Thur or Fri nite LOL. Though it may be quite jammy. Diablo suggested another sunday morning convoy to Ulu Yam - Gotong Jaya? How about it?

Oh yes, you mentioned walkie talkie sets before? Any idea where we can check these out? We really need those in our "cruize".
