Any comments on SSCUS seats??
They have lots of choices and nice lookin ones too. Are they a good bang for the buck, or should i not even consider them?? A decent pair costs around 1k ish, as compared with the 4-5k per pair for sparco or recaro.

Any opinions/experiences.. pls do share.

If your intention is just to look good & post on the streets only, SSCUS shld do the work. Cheap & looks good.

BUT if your intention is to go for drifting competition or SIC tracking.. I recon you go for Sparco & Recaro with Kevlar shell type for safety purposes.

yeah, my intentions are to look good on the road, but NOT to pose lor.. i very shy wan...

also want the seats to be confortable for daily and distance driving.
I doubt i will be goin on track every other day. maybe, more like every other year! so i dont need it to be super safe and bullet proof.

I used a 500rm pair of recaros look alike last time.. it was pretty good. everyone said it was comfortable, but i think the cushion is softer then the original seats. SSCUS have got models that looks the same as recaro and sparco.

so how how?

The place is at D1 Motorsports, Gombak. I can bring you there this Saturday. If you are free... They only have 1 model per make on displayed, the rest are on catalogs basis, once you decide your desire bodykit, pay 50% deposit then they'll order for you from Japan. If it's the displayed set, you can cash & carry or plus installation.

Yes.... They have lots of 180sx bodykits.. All direct import from Japan.

They have widebody kit for 180sx,S13,S14,S14.5 & S15.. They also have FRP fender kit & rear 3 quarter panel kit too..

Don't worry abt them of receiving money & not ordering the kit for you.. They are my company's vendor for drift/race roll cage & padding. Reliable.

But no harm done just to check out the copycat of Recaro/Sparco nowadays b4 u purchase SSCUS... maybe improvement done lehhh...!!..

2nd hand seats.... personally, id rather go for a brand new clean malaysian made one then a 2nd hand sparco or recaro, unless the condition is really good. someone may have died in it!!!
if really good it will cost thousands more anyway,.... so back to square one.
