Hi Zul, you must have missed the turn-back immediately after Jelutong toll.

Earlier at the U-turn before Damansara toll, saw your brake lock almost kissed the R34 butt - gulp. Hope you are ok.

Guys,

We have been talking about doing a Sunday morning group convoy cum breakfast for quite sometime now. Its definately going to be fun as some of you have done it before. After discussing it during TT last night, with renewed interest, we want to make it happen soon. "Ice Man" Eri with be the lead car to take us to Sg. Tegali (hope I got the spelling right). Thats the outskirt of Ampang and beyond into the Kampungs, nice greenery, fresh water lakes and fresh air. We can take clearer photos in the day as well.

Tentatively, we are targetting next Sunday 20th July or 27th July subject to confirmation. So get your horses saddled up for this event and keep a look out here for more updates. :nod:

Not necessary S15 convoy mah... one 180SX and R34 V-spec also joining. You can choose any one out our your fleet of muscle cars to come, no issues. :rotfl:

There will be practice, qualifying and race. Plus if we gather enough $$, they'll be trophies as well.

Good News Folks! This Sunday Morning Convoy cum breakfast 20th July is ON! Plan of attack :

1) Meet at 8am in Ampang Point - Pelita Nasi Kandar for breakfast. Tel Nos. below if not sure of the venue.
2) We will be leaving by 8.30am latest before 9am on a convoy to Sg Tekali and beyond.
3) Make sure fill up your "GO juice" (in case no stations in the Kampungs).
4) Bring a change of clothes (in case you guys want to go for a dip at the water falls).
5) Possibly a semi-pro photographer will be arranged. Also possible feature in Hypertune (finger crossed). :nod:

looks like this cruise is gona be a pretty big group. i think we shud not leave out the mgmt aspects of organizing this.

eri would obviously take the lead. but we also need someone who knows the route to be the sweeper - just to make sure everyone follows the designated route trail. this is bcos of diff driving styles across drivers. some love to wack on straights leaving the others behind, while some prefer to enjoy the scenery. same scenario goes on the twisties and S curves halfway into the cruise.

we also need ppl with walkies. currently, me and hwa ming(r34) have a pair. if 2 of my other frens are joining, we will have a couple more walkies. anyone with walkies, feel free to bring them.

will this be the first cruise for s15oc msia?

Thats fine. No worries... I'm sure you will not shoot pass the Jelutong toll again since there is only one kampong road couple with the loud screemer pipes we should be able to keep up in a group - probably in the 80 to 100km/h - ish. Just got to be careful of hard or late braking due to ayam gila or kerbau tua crossing the road. Pot holes and patched roads are also a real bugger to light alloy wheels especially those on 35 aspec ratio and below.
