DCM is having a Silvia/AE gathering this Friday 9.00pm. I've not decided, probably late coz I've to transfer some German visitors to the airport.

Should have went for the last TT you guys had, looks like I missed out on all the fun.
Had a last minute dinner thingy with my relatives and stuff. *sighs*
Also, I just called SIC today to reconfirm on the status of this Sunday's open track day.
Guess what guys, Sepang said the track has been booked privately so the open track day is canceled.
So I asked the guy when is the next open track day and he said they're not sure.
Daryl, could you please try and call Kumar or anybody else in charged of Sepang and
update us whether the track day is actually ON or not for the benefit of all of us.
I also have a bunch of Scoobies and Evos from Singapore that want to join in as well.

Thanks Nick for the update. Apparently some big corporation splash the cash and closed the track for their private function. :furious:

Just called Kumar of SIC... Yup the track is booked by S'porean - sort of Private Supercar Track Day. The next open track day not sure yet...
Proton Test Track.. I can arrange it but we all have to chip in lahh.. Rental per day is RM5000. But it's oval track only wow....

Sorry couldnt join in the DCM TT last night as Arun's car stalled in the highway last night. Discoman, Senthil and myself went to his aid. His engine just died while driving. There's no illumination on his FC Commander. Car could crank but just refuse to fire. Brought tools, spare ECU and fuel pump. We swap the ECU, all the fuses both in the footwell and the engine bay. Just baffling. Finally called in a tow truck and towed the car back to X-Factory at midnight. As there wasnt much more we can do, we adjourned to a nearby restaurant and boozed till 8am in the morning. hic. This afternoon, his car was up and running again and I was with him chasing two V35 Skylines on the highway. LOL.

What was the cause of the break down...????
is it due to the immobiliser??? i think lot of the alarm system nowadays carry this function!!

Yes, seems like loose tape expose alarm wiring under the dash board which trigger the immo of some sort. There we were like heros swapping ECUs and pulled out all the fuses on the car. :wack:

haha....at least now we all have the experience to troubleshoot future problem!!! START FROM THE ROOTS!!!
Also Disco-ing the SR20Det seems like lot of fun!!! Too bad my search of a S15 Engine is still going on......waiting waiting waiting!!
