What is your budget...??? From what know.. if good condition complete engine (SR20DET), complete wiring, ECU + 6 speed gearbox will cost you btw 15k-18K any time.. Are you ready to pay that kinda money..??? If you are... I got jalan to get it... call me directly if you ready. 012-2886885

Hey Daryl, your estimation sounds reasonable! my budget is approx 15-20K++ which include installation, some minor mod(like Cam, timing belt change etc) a general overhauling like remove head and oil pan for inspection, decarbonized etc and some small bits like mounting etc. as i believe this is needed to be done on a halfcut when doing the conversion. I'm actually waiting for some JB supplier to source already. but it would be great to know you had lobang as well..hehe...i'll know who to turn to next if my supplier in JB didn't work out!! btw did anyone know do we need to re-register the new engine cos i'm also thinking of sourcing in Singapore, which in this case i won't have any custum paper to prove!!

Yes I believe you need the engine papers to have JPJ change the engine no. in your reg card. Otherwise just add in a turbo in your DE + all the necessary props, you dont have to go through JPJ hassle but you need to measure up cost comparison vs a SR20DET swap.
With the petrol price increase to RM2.70 per ltr (some 40% increase) we have to pay RM46.00 more per tank full no? Damn! Our wangan will be some sort more expensive now eh?

I got 1 complete SR20Det, Complete wiring, ECU + 6 Speed gearbox in hand NOW. RM18.5K...Basically a half cut lahh... U want..??? This is not a stolen engine or anything illegal. It's FULLY legalize with proper documents. So how...???

Hey felllo Silvians...
Just wanna quick update u folks on my little misadventure last friday night.
While driving back from cheras to TTDI my vehicle engine just died while at 80kmh.
After drifting to the E-lane, i just coudlnt get the engine started. It seems the power to the ecu and some other parts of the car just wasnt there.
I locked myself in the car and waited for collin and gang to come to my rescue. I can telly you... these fellas came prepared! Spare ECU, fuel pump, lights, tools, etc etc...
After much troubleshooting we cudnt find any issue with the vehicle.
In the end, we had it towed to X factory and it ended up sitting under Mr Defis vehicle.
Towing also wasnt a straight forward thingy....
Had to remove my precious bumper to get it on the flat bed truck. Sigh...
Its funny how sometimes the last thing you'd think was the problem really turnes out to be the problem..
My alarm malfucntioned and was somehow activated. It basically prevented the so call thief (which was ME) from starting the car, even though i had the key!
At least we know it works.
Anyway, just wanna thank the fellas who sacrificed their friday nite to come bail me out. Vielen Dank!! (Collin u goin germany rite?? U can find out wat tat means. By the way my uncle's parents live in Heidelberg..)
