With engine collection being imminent I decided to spend half a day on the car !
Got the rear quarters pretty close now , just a bit of sharpening up to do .
All that’s left is to make the skirts and rear bumper wider to meet the additional width of the quarters , shouldn’t take long !

Ha ha has been one hell of a journey man! Thank you ! Glad you enjoyed the read . Should be getting my engine this week , at long last , so will start properly cracking on with the rest ! Planning to take a week off over xmas to get her painted ... can’t wait ! Been a very long time building what I hope is the perfect Silvia

Did a bit more on the car today , got the engine sitting right and test fitted the turbo and inlet . Defo going to need to rework my tub as I expected , not bad though just a minor tweak !

Quarters and panel repairs pretty much done now so hopefully be getting the shell and final panels in primer soon

Managed to make some time for silv today .
Got the doors boot and shell into spray filler ! Only the rear bumper to go now , be nice to crack on and lay some epoxy and high build next ready for some paint at long last !

Had a little time on the old girl today .
Going to crack on getting the bay ready for paint now
Had to chop my tub to make some space for my turbo ha ha ha just so I could rotate the housing more and have the outlet going at a similar angle to the tub in order for the pipe works to run parallel to the chassis leg up to the intercooler . who wouldn’t make their car fit their turbo eh ha ha

Always have to crack a beer after a day on the old girl ha ha few and far between

Will be getting on prepping and smoothing the rest of the bay now so hopefully be in primer soon then can finally start getting some colour on

Pretty happy with how it’s come out ! Shame to have had to do it but will make a nice feature ,
Considering using some of the gold heat film in that part to contrast against the gold paint
