Ha ha man I do sometimes wish I had just built what I had and enjoyed it ! I had a solid 500hp set up ready to go on but sold it to do this I don’t have mega funds which is why it’s taking so long, especially as I started my business at the same time I took this off the road ha ha just hope it’s worth the wait !

I was going to start doing power stuff to mine but I just didn’t bother in the end because it’s a slippery slope I don’t want to go down anymore

It will all be worth it when one day you finally turn the key

Ha ha it certainly is and tbh they are fun around 300 Hp anyway , I have probably made this pretty undrivable

Man I’d have to wrap it in a big zorb before driving it around in case anything made a mark on it

Ha yeah should see 700 with e85 I reckon , I’m going to spray ppf the car to save it from scratches etc should be fine , end of the day I can repair it

Plans have changed again
So after lots of consideration we have decided to get a different block , new darton sleeves and start fresh with all the machine work .
This will mean I can stick with the 89.5mm pistons so I have scope in future if I want/ need to go to 90mm
Looks like the sleeves should be here this week then off to the engine shop to get the machining done for the sleeves , 1/2 studs , oil grooves etc
Hopefully have some pictures of it all soon, been a long time coming !

Forgot to mention , gk tech are doing a run of their billet diff covers at a really good price ( pre order ) so got myself on the list for a gold one ! Should look nice with all the colour under side

They have actually made a few extra which they are offering at the pre purchase price still as well if anyone missed it and want to get on board !

Few more bits came today , still waiting on my radium in line filters but got my setrab oil cooler and fittings , also got their mounting brackets as they have nice rubber bushes to help with vibrations

Seeing as I have removed the oem fuel filler I finally got around to purchasing the new one .
This is a pop up filler cap from a motorbike , I’m intending to flush mount it in the boot drainage frame should be pretty cool little touch and keeps the outside looking clean

Very nice Chris. I keep checking in to see how you're getting on,all really nice quality parts as always. Is it me or is it real quiet on here these days? I thought the forum would get busier as more s15s came over but I'm guessing maybe now the numbers are declining from drifting and smash ups etc. Once finished yours will be a great example of an increasingly rare car!!!

Yeah I think most people are on the uk s15 page on fb , seems to be way more active that this

Ha ha i have seen some terrible stuff at Sema so I’m hoping it will be better but yeah man trying to build it to the highest standard I can achieve

Well it’s official !
My blocks off being sleeved and bored and the heads being machined and getting all the new valvetrain fitted EXCITING will update as and when I get photos , can’t wait now !
Ordered some more of the fuel fittings just waiting on my order from radium to arrive , may actually see the road next year
