Only god knows now mate :p after paying up some of the final bills for the rest of the parts going to take a few months off buying bits till around Feb March then will get the rest of the engine bits (1000cc Injectors, ECU, T.Body, Turbo & Induction Kit) then its Brakes and Suspension time :wack: wouldnt mind paying off my credit card before all that though lol
Likely or should I say more realistically early 2013 lol :wack: still at least another £10000-£13000 left to go :(

I'm not sure how you can do it, I hate going long periods without driving my car. I honestly can't beleive how much money you've spent either, it's nuts!

Some women just know where they stand, my other half is the same, but she just cracks on with her car at the same time :D... It's hardly on the scale of mine though, I just teach her how to fix things and she does it herself.

Ha ha I am surprised too mate! I get proper ear bashings off my mrs and I don't spend nearly as much as you! The old oh so you can spend 500 on your car but not 100 on me lol yup the car NEEDS the new wheels lol you don't need another pair of shoes !!!
Good man glad you are sticking with it,hope you don't end up getting rid before its finished!
Gonna be amazing can't wait to see it finished!!
As you said would be way worse if you still drove the corsa daily! Even going 2-3 weeks not driving my car is abd enough that's why I amsaving most my new parts up to fit over winter when it won't be driven anyways!

HAHA my misses said the same when she found out I bought the Rad, G-Reddy Cooler and went on a boys holiday for a week...it didnt go down well but she will soon learn in time :wack: I know I am sooo glad to have the s14 as a daily even though I get it tight in work every f*cking day because its about 4 colours but still can shift think its around the 300bhp but it needs a good mapping
Cant see me selling it before its finnished if anything the s14 will be away if I have to go down that road but so far just enjoying a decent s-body again and enjoying collecting some propper JDM goodies :)

Right well since some of you might of seen already on SXOC I am pulling the plug on this build :(

Realistically the cost of bringing the S15 to the standard I would like is going to mean not going out for about another 2 years and spending another good part of 10-13 grand and for then 3-4 years down the line to need to rip it to bits and not get half of what I put into it, or worse blow it up on the first dyno run :wack: Also after owning that S14 you cant run a drift car on our UK Roads daily with out:
1. Ripping your bumper off every 200 yards and not getting up a kerb
2. Hitting a F*cking pot hole &
3. Having to look out your window every 2 seconds to make sure its still there

I hate coming this far to then toss it all away but I'm only 22 and I personaly think I'm quite lucky with what I have already but its taken a few things over the last few months to happen for me to realise that your only here once as much as I enjoyed buying bits for the car I would rather go out and enjoy it :)

Plan of action now is putting the s15 back to roughly stock would say 350bhp not selling all of the parts from the build just some major ones that wont be required for this and then looking at selling it on. Bit of a sad day but getting to know and meet some of you was all worth it.

So I will keep this thread going but its more of a U-Turn than progression if you like :wack:

Bring on the vultures :p

Would also like to say a big thanks to Peter at Cougar Power though these guys are by far the best company to deal with in the EU #FACT! :)

That's sad news mate.

But I know exactly there you're coming from on the money and time side of things. I'm probably £6k in on parts alone and I know i've got at least £15-20k left to go to get it to the state I want or basically i'd rather not do it at all.

So I feel for you on that.

It was alot of fun when me and some of my mates all had them but I guess times just move on I would rather save up and move out if I'm perfectly honest because I dont want to rent anywhere and I would rather spend my money on my Studio and new DJ Equipment as that seems to be going really well for me just now.
I would rather have the S15 on the road and enjoy it for a while rather than not driving it for nearly 2 years now and thats went in pritty damn quick!

That's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing how much power you could squeeze from the SR lump!

Accord Type R's are good track cars too! :)

Cheers guys, :)
I will see how things pan out but I would rather cut my losses just now rather than 2-3 years down the line and put it back onto the road and enjoy it.
Will see how things go but I am now on the hunt for pritty much everything I have sold off the car lol

Really sad to see this Allan but you've definitely got your priorities right!

Pumping money into a car project should come after all the other important things like having your own place - we all know rent money is dead money :wack:

I'll leave whether the gf or wife is more important than the car debate for someone else to pick up... I know my missus thinks my car is more important than her lol :D

I think most girls would say that but thats only because your spending money on the car and not buying them shoes or bags....:p
