PPS...were very helpfull and supplied most of the parts required for the conversion.. We was offered and lightened flywheel and performance clutch but we had to budget with other expenses for little knocks and APT...
while the old sr20de and auto box was at APT being removed..and getting ready to be delivered to Little Knocks...we had to get the mileage corrected on the dash pack on the odometer so the mileage would read the same as the original auto dash pack..(matching the original mileage on the chassis) we went down to...SPEEDOFIXER.CO.UK who specialises on dash packs especially digital ones.....cheers Farouk:thumbs:
Right...the car was sent to Little Knocks where crew sprayed the engine bay black as we didn't know what colour we was going to have the car later on..

Matt S - Hey matey...well its got air con so can keep cool in the hot summer (if we even have a summer)...does digital aircon/climate control make a big difference?.....if so then looks like another mod on the list to do..hee hee
Up date... The car is at APT... The engine and gear box is in just waiting on a few parts to arrive...
story so far and issues and problems we faced....
when we originally got the engine and gear box from PPS it also came with the s15 loom and ecu but no coil pack or coil pack harness...
got a call from Chris at APT say that the loom was wrong and not s15 loom..so it was back on the phone to Dave at PPS...
me and my bro didn't want to waste time so reached out to our contacts in Japan and the states basically all over everyone we knew for another s15 spec r loom complete with coil pack harness and coil packs...............
our good friend in Austrialia and Japan sourced the parts we were looking for including a s15 Rocker cover as we discovered that the s15 and s14a Rocker covers were different as the coil packs are thinner on the s15's. Parts were ordered...!!! (didn't realise how rare and difficult it was to source the parts for an s15)
Got a call from Dave at PPS sayin that he found my original s15 loom and had sent them straight away to APT...........I almost fell over after we found that out...so now we got s15 looms coming from every where.........(at least PPS pulled through in the end...top guys:thumbs
So......after a conversation with Chris and Garry at APT we decided to go for the apexi power fc djetro and have it mapped there..(you now where this is leading....£££) Since we was going to do this it was advised that it would be benificial to do our future mods now rather than come back at a later date and re-map after doing more performance mods... so we sourced the following..
-walbro fuel pump -740cc nismo injectors -apex gt fmic -blitz nur spec r exhaust -s/s de-cat silencer -drift works down pipe with flexi -drift works elbow with original nissan gasket -apexi avcr electronic boost controller
so thats what we're up to so far...will up date with more pics soon... just getting a djetro power fc for the s15 for next week is our next mission..can get one within 2-3 weeks ....but looks like this may delay the project....
matt - Not sure what i'll be selling yet matey, when the project is complete engine wise that is......I'll post up the parts which are no longer required on here first then sxoc....:thumbs:
