Rattling Trunk Problem

Did you try winding the boot spring up? its hard to do but normaly u can turn it n cable tie it in a bigger twist that should get your boot up better.....

where abouts do you do this? i mean, wheres the spring?
since i put the aero spoiler on mine, the boot doesnt pop properly either. just comes off the catch and waits to be lifted. lazy boot.

mine has only ever just popped. It never has sprung up by itself.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Crap! You mean the boot is suppose to spring up by itself?? Dammit! Looks like I have another problem to solve. . Well perhaps another interesting solution for it is max out the rubber stoppers to the point where the boot needs to be forced shut. When you pop it the "pressure" pops it up! :rotfl:

nah, tried that, just means theres more pressure on the latch, something i dont really want to add more 'wear and tear' factor to lol
