ON OFF switch

IIRC there was a thread on this and this was the answer! Blue interior lighting was a factory option, and I believe this is the switch for it!

WTF! Why would something like that be an option? Seems a bit odd, why would anyone want blue interior lighting?

Im not sure mate, maybe it was to go with the blue interior.....

There used to be a site with all the S15 options, think its gone now though

i wonder if the wiring was incorperated into the original harnesses, make life easy if i every add internal lighting (gets ready to duck for the chavyness of the idea)

I have blue interior lighting that comes on when you unlock the car and goes out when the ignition is switched on.... soon to be purple! I believe shushiming (sorry about the spelling) had the factory blue lighting too

I thought the factory rear fog used a different lighting stalk behind the steering wheel, and had a warning light in the dash binnacle?

:nod: Mine has the factory option of a rear fog, there is a light in the dash & a switch on the indicator stalk (same as front fog just another turn )

Hi all.
Picked up the silvia last week and just thought I'd update you all on that mysterious switch.
Works out that it is for lights under both front seats!
They are similar to the blue under dash lights, but work off that switch.
Guess they must be some kind of mood light! Lol.
Oh and they are deffinetly factory, as the switch says Nissan on it, and the lights under the seats are the same as the under dash ones!
Bit random tho. Odd factory option!

i've got the blue lighting too under the dash.

also got that switch but no idea what it does! i did ask on here ages ago but never did find out what it did!!
