bugger i've just recently renewed my tax last mouth at the £405 rate, any way of getting some monies back on this???

You can claim back any months unused tax & the tax it again at the lower rate. I've reclaimed tax a few times when I've sold a car down south (ROI) as uk tax is no good to them.
