3 or 4 years ago one of my headlight randomly cracked . I didn't do anything about it at the time as it didn't stop the car from going through MOT .
I finally decided to pull my fingers and refurbish them .

The paint was peeling so I resprayed the inner trims in metallic black

It's not very noticeable but the chrome was slightly damaged by the masking tape .

I found some nice stickers on Ebay to keep the OEM look .

Everything back together with new 326 power replacement lenses . It's not perfect but I am pretty happy with the result . I just hope I sealed them properly !

I couldn't resist buying these Nismo slippers . I now move much faster around the house.

Headlights back on the car . I think the passenger side will have to come off again as the indicator doesn't work, probably just the bulb .

6 years of daily driving with drift/track days on top really hasn't been kind on the paint . The next big thing will be to get a full respray .

And like every spring... birds are out just shitting all over the driveway and the cars...😡😡😡 🐦🦆🕊

Now in the car and running but for some reason the sensor reading freezes after reading fault codes . It is probably a simple error .
The power supply is pretty sketchy as well so more work is needed on that as well . Slowly getting there though . :p
This looks pretty awesome! Have you got the source code on GitHub? I also found the K11 code but never got around to adapting it and getting it to work with the S15

I don't have it on Github as I still haven't got around to correct the bug that freezes the display after doing a fault code reading .
I can PM you my code if you want . It's pretty messy though .

Since my last trackday the car sounded rough . At first I thought it was some sort of ignition issue as the car sometime randomly decides to run on 3 cylinders for a few minutes before returning to normal .

It turned out it was due to the exhaust splitting around the rear silencer . I wanted to retain the OEM look but didn't find any replacement part in good condition in the UK and wasn't really willing to pay $700 plus postage and duty for a stock rear silencer from Japan so I went with an HKS Silent Hi power exhaust instead .

I am pretty happy with the noise level, it is barely louder that stock . Not something everybody is after but I leave home early in the morning and I don't want to be the w🤬ker waking everybody up in the neighbourhood .

Not much new on the car but I managed to buy a house at the beginning of the year . I am nearly done preparing the garage, just need to touch the paint on the bottom of the walls .

The plan is to start collecting parts to get the car to a nice OEM+ level .
So far I got hold of a set of HKS hipermax S coilvovers and a set of R33GTR wheels and discs with GKTech caliper relocation brackets . The wheels are somewhere on a boat between Japan and the UK .

Thanks! First time owning a place so I had fun with the walls . Being able to install proper lighting makes such a difference too!

The stereo replacement is class.
I did something for a college project to add fingerprint kill switches and temp/pressure gauge read outs. raspberry pi's are handy little computers.

S15 looks' great btw.

Raspberry pi's are really cool . My only issue with them is the time they take to boot, ideally I would like something than can start much faster .

After seating in the garage for a few months the R33GTR wheels got a refurb . 2 of them turned out to be slightly buckled so pretty glad I just didn't throw new tyres on them and called it a day .

In the last couple of years my engine bay started showing sign of rust . I daily drove the car for 7 years and plan to keep doing so for as long as possible so I want to get it sorted properly .
After doing some research and talking to a few people I decided to choose HTDevelopments to carry all the rust repairs .

The car was collected yesterday for a full engine bay and floor restoration .

The front end will be completely taken apart, all panels blasted and welded where needed . Then everything reassembled using a jig before painting .

Here is another S15 they did earlier this year . Hopefully the chassis will be good for another decade of salty British road!

That's some real serious work! That's super awesome.

I assume you wouldn't fit a front mount intercooler in the future right? As it involves cutting a hole in the battery tray etc

I am happy with stock power . I will probably try to go back to stock exhaust if I can find one at a decent price .

My biggest issue with the car is brake fade and slightly too soft suspension . Once the new brakes and coilover are on the car it should be perfect for me!

I've got a JASMA approved exahust on mine as well, wouldn't have it any other way.
