*Update!!
After a couple of weeks unable to start the car and faffing with all sorts, got the 14a trailered to my mate's garage who's a whizz on SR's and he got to the bottom of the problem pretty quick... turns out the two black fuel hoses that run into the plenum (one which has the fuel filter) were installed the wrong way round??!! :wack: I never touched these so it must have been the previous owner who cocked this up and with a low amount of fuel in the tank plus the fact the car hadn't been started for months meant time wasted grrr
However I am grateful it was only a simple fix and she's now starting up perfectly fine - thanks to Josh @ Neils Autos :thumbs:
So past few days has been wiring, wiring and more wiring!!!
Rear fog light switch install...
MOT requires that the rear fog light switch illuminates...
Needed to wire in boost controller plus gauges using ignition 12V and illumination 12V - cue cigarette lighter connector wires...
Orange wire = ignition 12V, red wire = illumination 12V...
Definitely getting the hang of soldering...
A few 5A in-line fuses for various installs which need constant 12V from battery...
Boost controller relay tucked away nicely...
All custom carbon centre panels installed - top = boost controller, middle = kill switch, bottom = switches...
Testing gauges and boost controller - they work!
Next task is to wire in the gauges properly and stick them on the dash
Then finally, I can get the seats in!! :wack:
