Fuel type for spec S

I'll be importing a spec s to the US next year and was wondering what kind of gas I'd put in it once it's here. For example 87, 89 or 93 any advice helps thanks.

According to the Japanese catalog at hand, unleaded premium gasoline is the designated fuel for both spec.S and spec.R.

Unleaded premium gasoline in Japan is specified as having an octane rating of 96 or higher, so I believe we should supply gasoline that is close to that.

Japan and the US/Canada use different octane rating systems. 96 RON in Japan equals about 91 AKI. Just use at least 91 in the US.
