thanks guys, I've been getting snap happy with the camera lately so I'll post up some new pics soon.

I'm actually considering lowering my front end further. I'm just a bit cautious about my car being victimised on judder bars and driveways! I put a level on the underside and the bubble is within the "zone" - it's pretty much level. Typically having the rear slightly higher aids handling, however I don't want the raise the back so the front has to go down! Maybe another 10mm? What do you guys reckon?

The side skirts in particular extend quite low at the ends so I need to preserve them. Gees I hope my next track day doesn't see me bringing the kit home strapped to the roof.

I'll get my tape measure out and measure the height of the guards from the floor. Anyone else want to measure theirs and compare?

okay here's the tale of the tape...

front arches - 655mm from the ground, rear 630mm. My front spoiler is 120mm off the ground, the front of the side skirt 95mm / rear 100mm, and the rear bumper pods are 135mm from the ground. Looking at the shocks, my car can travel up to about 45mm down - so....there's not a lot to play with. I managed to bottom out my kit on a country road the other day...not nice. Only a scuff on the underside though. I'm 50/50 between lowering the front maybe another 10mm, or leaving it as it is. Mind you, 10mm could be the difference between catching your bumper on the ripple strips or not eh!

ps - my car is dead level - bubble right in the middle :)

Lowering the front would take some weight off the rear which would effect grip on acceleration, but aid trun in traction.

Forgot to measure mine, will do it tonight for sure

Ok i've measured mine - All approx sides as it was freezing :D

Rear Arch to floor - 640mm
Side of rear bumper (next to wheel) - 140mm
Rear (under plate) - 260mm
Side skirt - Rear 100mm, front 110mm
Middle of Front bumper - 120mm

I wound the front and rear up by approx 40mm ish when i picked up the car, so it can go down that far if i so wish. although my bumper 80mm from the floor isnt a good idea

Hey Topper, I chopped another 7mm in height off the front. That's all for me i think, any lower and my side skirts are going to get smashed on the ripple strips!

woops- haven't been here for a while

yeah - my front would suit standard side skirts I reckon. The kit after all is an exaggerated version of the standard style.

The front is also pretty neutral so would suit most kits from the front back.
