The thread on SXOC is kept a lot more upto date than this one.
Car is broken again...
Got 461hp for a month or two, then spun a shell.
Engine is going to be rebuilt over the next few weeks, with some improvements, and the car is going for a little work to accomodate some larger wheels / tyres

I am neither rich or doing it myself...
I have the dubious luxury of it being only recently built, so under a warranty of sorts.
I am having to buy the pistons and rods, but most other bits are being provided and labour is being covered. Wish I was rich, getting painful all this time off the road and working on it all the time

About 1 month

There is now proper progress:
New paint all over, and finishing of the engine will happen soon, along with finishing the kit.
Then the plan is for it to make it to my wedding on 16/4, then drive to Athens for a honeymoon
That's the plan, anyway
I have been somewhat slack on here as I somehow turned off the PM email notifications, and keep forgetting about this thread

I've read the thread on the sxoc for a couple of years now and the car has come a long way. I actually like the bodywork, however I wouldn't be brave enough to attempt it. Awesome engine too.
I suppose a congratulations should be in order fo finishing such a long project

It felt like a brave move before, but right now with it all done it feels like a great idea! It's got nice new paint and really goes well also now!
New wheels is the next plan... I am thinking 9" Forces on the front and 10.5" Forces on the rear
