Door lock actuators.

Hi, recently my s15 adm stopped locking and unlocking. Im not sure whether its my door lock actuators or my mongoose alarm system that i have in the car. When i press to unlock and lock nothing happens though the key still lights up. If anyone knows what to do to test whether its actuators or the alarm system please let me know. If its actuators are jdm compatible with adm if i was to buy new actuators or would i need to only get adm ones? all help is appreciated thanks.

Open up the door trim on the side it's on and have a look. If there's an aftermarket actuator that's gone offline - there's your issue.

If there's no aftermarket device and you know it used to work then match the actuator part like for like. You'll need to remove some bolts to remove the door lock actuator from the frame. Then you'll be able to see what actuator type you have. You want to match the reolacment so it's got the same amount of pins.
