Dim Dials?

Yeh, my fuel gauge back lights weren't even working when I bought mine. I changed them to replacement bulbs I got from a local shop, cost around $4.00 AUD or so.

It didn't make it bright though

Ah, I never saw this thread.

I was wondering why my dials were so dim! I thought it was normal.

You can buy red bulbs from ebay I think, but I got cheap ones for my S14 and the red tint eventually fell off!

Mine aren't particularly bright, but I prefer them dim at night. It's less distracting. All of my Defi's are set to the dimmest, and on my daily drive BMW I've got it set at near the lowest setting.

Maybe they are supposed to be dim from the factory?
