Chris, check this link, this was the first time I'd seen these wheels and there the CE28 reps, I'm hoping Rays do a super lap version of the 28s as I like them almost as much as the TE37s, RE30s got a club sport version, TE37s the SL and RT, poor CEs have been left out, lol.

Electric Fans

Another delivery today...

Flex-a-life 420 Dual 12" Electric Fans, my Koyo rad will be happy, no temperature controller for this one as it will be managed by the Syvecs ECU.

Waiting on the rest of the wheels to arrive now and then it's some powder coat fun....

Moonface

Just dropped the wheels off at the powder coaters, really looking forward now to see how they turn out, going to take 3 weeks for them to be done :(

In the mean time trying to finish off the suspension set up. Was originally going for Ikeya FLCA, RLCA but can't justify the cost of these yet, so in the mean time as both FLCA and RLCA have already had polybushes fitted it's just the ball joints to replace.

So gone for front/back MF-R Rollcenter Adjuster units, ftw....

They look and feel top quality, hopefully with all the suspension arms and wheels properly set up i'll actually get some traction back, lol...

Me too, lol...

I know these are for really low set ups, but i'm going to be going pretty low once I have the new wheels on etc, so hopefully i'll be able to dial in the set up pretty well as every arm is adjustable now. Actually still have the tie rods to replace, my old Tien ones have seized, would love to get Moonface tie rods and ends to replace them, but there well expensive....

Next order of business is the sensors for the Syvecs, there's loads and loads of sensors required, it's a really comprehensive system, but i've set up a spreadsheet and got everything worked out, just need to start buying them now and hopefully not long from now I can actually start working on her, lol.

Just had a few new parts arrived to add to the haul.

2nd Moonface Roll Center Adjuster and new Knock Sensor harness and Injector Harness (just to freshen up the existing wiring before I start pulling the rest of it apart for the new loom).

Have a bunch of sensor on order for the install of the Syvecs, really looking forward to getting the new ECU installed now...

It has taken a while but now I have Manley H beams and forged CP SR20VE pistons, and the new set of exhaust valves, so engine goes together very soon. Not quite sorted the actuator for the GTX turbo, the HKS one is too long. May trim it down if noone can get me one.

Getting seriously hacked off by Garage-D about the time taken so far on this gearbox and their apparent lack of motivation in getting it to me. Will be having more words on Monday...

Just out of curiosity, why did you go with Manley H beams, Max? They've been known to be quite a poor quality rod, lots of failures on Evo's but that may have been because they were taken past their capabilities, as they're only rated to around 500bhp.

Sensors, Fuel Pump and Wheels

For Fathers day (US) I got a Walbro 400l/ph E85 Fuel pump and Motec pro series 5bar MAP Sensor (Not Bad, lol), they're already packed so no picks of these until i'm back in the UK (plus I want to get all the sensors together for picks rather than bit by bit), one more Fuel pump and a nice Radium Surge Tank and fueling is done for the moment.

Just picked up the wheels from the Powder Coaters, photos don't do these justice, in the flesh they look awesome...

Can't wait to get some rubber on these, still not sure on the tires, would like to go with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's or Yokohama Advan AD08's, the Yokos look cool but not so good in the rain. Decisions....

Nothing more for a couple of months now as i'm leaving the US in 2 weeks, lots to do !!!!

Man the wheels look awesome! I'm personally going eagle f1 a2 as they are supposed to be amazing all rounds tyres ad08's were my other choice funnily enough but I went off them hearing about their wet weather performance .driving home from a show been super sunny all day started raining so hard I was doing 30 on the motorway lol not worth the risk
