Ok, iv been looking into HID's for the s15. Im not going to shell out just under £1400 for a set of OEM HID Headunits. Iv been told its illegal to do this tho? Anyways.. Converting HID to regular Halogen headlights
Have a small problem here in Sweden because the stock HID lights for the S15 isn't legal. They would need auto level adjustment and water spray to be legal. xexon, HID, or blue bulb???
I purchased Jono's S15 from Torque GT about 2 months ago. I always assumed that the headlights were just a imitation hid bulb ( bluey/white once turned on ) Last nite 1 of my mates was convinced that the lights were Xenon. Is Xexon the same as HID? Help with installing HID kit
I have just bought a Jap HID kit and one of the relay kit from Cookie. But there are no diagrams what soever from both of the parts. There are so much wires from the relay box :confused: , and I have not got a clue how to wire them up. Can somebody give me some advice, I think a some of you... -

anyone had issues with S15 HID in relation to their highbeam
hello there just wondering has anyone here who has an S15 with HID setup for low beam and when you switch the high beam on a few times, it kills the HID (as in fries the ballast) because this is the second time i needed to use my high beam several times and then my LHS HID would just go off...- S1Five

Is HID illegal in your country? Well, I have changed to HID and the mechanic said it's illegal because the light does not splash?? Since S15 has a projector type headlight, I don't know what he meant. I'm sure even with stock lights it won't splash because it's projector and it lights straight...- silviac
