engine heat into the cabin
Hi, I recently swap my sr20de to an s14 sr20det engine. But I have a problem, all the heat from the engine bay get inside the cabin. Is summer here in Peru, and you can imagine its annoying to drive in that condition. Please I need some ideas to solve this problem. Thanks!- ANDYX

Heat Wrap?
Just fitted my manifold & elbow on the weekend, hurrah!!!!......wasn't a fun job at all, but its done now!. Anybody know where i can get some good (cheap)....did i mention CHEAP??? heat wrap to go round the manifold?? or something more "home" related i could use as a good substitute??? :wave:- moomin

Urgent question re heat wrap
i've just spent the last hour and a bit wrapping my type 2 minifold in heat wrap... started her up and after a min or two, white smoke started coming from the wrap. turned engine off and stood gaurd with extinguisher. is this normal burning in process or should i be very concerned? Heat Shield For Air Filter
Hi peeps :wave: Anyone bought or got a heat shield fabricated to keep the air induction kit filter cooler? Aircon at feet on at all times??
This is on a JDM S15. So, I turned the aircon to 32degrees and heat all around at max fan once. Wasn't long, like 10mins or so. Then today, I noticed hot air blowing at my feet. Heat sheild for rear bumper
After a spirited drive, i was washing my car and noticed the rear bumper above the exhaust was slightly..... well black. i'm getting all the bits n bobs i need for my cars 1st uk service in 3years :eek: ( the guy i got it off only did 3000 mile in 3 years ) i'm sorting out plugs, now i was going to get denso 1k20's but as i can get a good deal on some stuff, i can get HKS plugs ( that i'm told are denso anyway...- kimi

Turbo Water Feeds
Well, replaced the turbo water feeds with braided hoses at the weekend. With the turbo still on.... :D Its quite fiddly, but possible (so long as the heat shields are off). This was the leaky bugger... -
Oil Cooler
After a breif discussion with Nicely re the above, he has a friend who has recently fitted and oil filter relocation kit along with a oil cooler, he is now complaining that his car takes an age to heat up.
