Arse. That'll be the gearbox then...
Looks as thought the counter gear shaft bearing has probably gone in the gearbox :( This may well have be caused by the 'S15 6MT weakness' - the 3rd/4th counter gear circlip. Anyway, sounds like a bag of spanners in all but 5th and is quite difficult to select 1st and 3rd and sounds terrible... -

Last night I was starting to think about replacing my gearbox oil Ive had sat in the garage for months (Does anyone see a pattern forming here? :D ), but looking under the car I couldnt really see a way of getting the oil back into the box. questions for owners...
Hi all.. seriously considering getting an S15 in the new-year sometime, and have a couple of unanswered questions... 1) Do they (jap imports) require undersealing of some kind once imported? am I right in thinking that this isn't done in Japan, but is to european cars? 2) what revs is the S15...- Pierscoe1

Nismo gearbox.
What do you think of this gearbox. It's way cheaper than the HKS gearbox. Does this gearbox fix the circlip isue? Anyone know how much power it can handle? Sound Deadening
anyone know what stuff to get, to block noises from the gearbox and reduce rattles? i removed the gear boot and went for a drive, damn u could hear every single noise from the gearbox, no shit, that gear boot is really good, so anyone know where i can get seomthing like dynamat but cheaper?- S15R
