OEM boost gauge wireing
My Spec R drift car does not have the factory boost gauge as it did not come with one as standard. I've just bought one along with the pod and boost sensor from under the bonnet. Hi all, Kinda looking for a 'how to' on this one. I should have a defi boost gauge coming in about a month or so. i was out playing around with the normal gauge to see how it is held in, however i dont really want to remove the a pillar trim unless i have too because i've a really bad habit of...- Paddy

gauge power
sup guys, 1. is it safe to power 2 gauges through the headunit power? 2. most gauges come with 3 wires=ground/light/power, now can i run the light & power for each gauge through the headunit power? 3. like crimp it instead of soldiering it cause don't know how to solder it? if so, pictures...- wow

Removing airvents
Hi guys was wondering if there a guide to this thinking of slipping some gauges in here!!just wondering if u need to block of the heater feed into it not sure if the hot/cold be good at the back of the gauge all the time.Any body who done this let me know.Also are the wires easy enough feed up... -

boost gauge?
yo, there seems to be something wrong wif my boost gauge on my 1999 silvia s15(jdm)"factory boost gauge"... sometimes it will not work and sometimes it will.. when i'm driving the gauge will work but then a few minutes later the needle will go all the way up to 1bar then back to -7 then the...- wow

Standard Boost gauge
Hi guys having prob with mine thought i read a thread on them before here somewhere but cant find it. Basically drove my s15 home yest it was a long journey 500 miles but after bout first half hour driving the boost gauge needle just went round to the -7 as if the boost hose had come off... -
Taking out complete standard boost Gauge
hi I've a set of Defi gauges coming in very soon, was thinking can the standard boost gauge be removed with all the sensors and fit on a different car. as my girl friends colt CZT don't have a boost gauge hehehe. If so does anyone know what else is needed to make this work?- raytsang

Greddy electronic gauge. Very stock looking.
Just found this on Greddy USAs website :) This should be the closest gauge there is if going for the stock look. No warning or peak hold though. But very close match to stock gauge. -
Oil coolers.
OK. By next seasons I will have an oil cooler installed because I can only do a limited amount of laps on track days before the oil-temp gets out of hands. Just don't know which cooler to go with yet. I want one with thermostat and gauge takeoffs for Greddy gauges. So I reckon it will have to be...- Yakozan

"original" boost gauge +1 bar
Hi All! I`m really loving the S15 and all... but I have a small question. There is offcourse the nice standard boost gauge installed in the car... but it doenst go further then 1 bar! I can swap it for a aftermarket boost gauge.. but the orginal one looks so nice with the odometer! Does Nismo...- Hank S15

as some of you may know, i've been floating about here for a couple weeks..... and.... i went to view an S15 today! MY GOD it's one of the best conditions i've seen one in! no dings at all! the only thing i noticed was a chip on the boot that'd been touched up! but nothing major! sooooo... -

I have greddy gauge OIL press w/o sensor. So but I have defi sensor from Oil press gauge. Will it work with greddy gauge???- Albert

Hi, the stock boost gauge on my S15 is not working, if I want to get an aftermarket one, what is the size of it? 60mm? also I want to install a water temp. gauge in the center air con vent, what is the gauge size for that one? and which brand of gauge do you recommend? High idle and no engine temp
refitted turbo and manifold today because the manifold to turbo gasket was exchanged. Fired the engine up and everything seemed to be OK. After I while a started to wonder why my idle wouldn't get any lower (stuck at about 1500rpm). Checked my oil temp gauge which was reading about 65 degrees...- Yakozan

Gauge decision
Looking to replace my pod boost gauge with a Defi-Link BF, but not sure which to have. Don't really need another boost gauge, as I use the controller for that. Which is going to be of most use to me? Oil pressure? Oil Temp? Discuss. :) -
