going to decat the s15
so as the tittle says im going to decat my s15.ino the MOT may be a pain but il get it changed over before hand so it doesnt bother me :). but mainly all i want to know is performance wise will it better and what can i expect as this is the first car ive ever had a decat on.- crazymat666

s15 decat question
Will a decat from an s14 fit an s15, or an s13 decat onto an s15 or does the s15 require a specific decat?? Thanks:thumbs:- Sideways Simon....

Whats your MPG?
Ive just worked mine out.. I think I do on average about 80 miles a week, I normaly put in £25.00 Shell V-Power a week and it lasts me the full 7 days then the light comes on :down: Anyway I think thats about 18mpg...not 100% as my speedo plays up and I dont know how many miles I do exactly...- Fruitbooter

FS: S15 3" Stainless Decat Pipe

High Idle - not by much though
This is causing me greif with the MOT man. The car idles at 1050-1100rpm and 1050 is the top limit. I belive the car should be closer to 900-1000. Car has a turbo back exhuast, currently with a Decat, although I am fitting the cat this weekend, perhaps that may help the situation? Is...- Toby

little problem im having with the car..
my car idles at about 2 revs when cold.. thats fine.. when its warm it idles at just under 1... however when sitting still at lights etc.. it shudders every few seconds... there is no loss of power.. now i just noticed it has a decat and also i put octane booster in it... the car was sitting up...- barnes

Decat pipe.. will i need a controller!?
Morning all, got me a Decat pipe from Bon over at Driftworks, Iv been reading up that with the install of the decat that the boost creeps up. Im running OEM boost at the moment with FMIC and ARC intake, No bov and an HKS system. Will i need anything else to run this ok?? As iv been reading...- mint

Couple of quick questions...
Guys, Ive searched these forums and the SXOC but seem to find conflicting results... Does a S14 elbow, S14 frontpipe and a S13/R33 decat all fit together with an S15 exhaust ?? decat pipe
As above I'm looking for a decat pipe for the S15. I hear that the S14 has a different length pipe so I wud need more of the exhaust if I bought 1 of them. I want 1 that will bolt straight on. Or if sum 1 in ireland can make me 1 up cheap that wud work fine. -

well, got the decat on today... there's no doubt that it certainly spools up quicker and stronger! :D well worth the 50 notes i handed over to jono for it! cheers bud! :D FMIC next.... amazing how i said "i wouldn't be spending money on the 15!!!" -
