Hi guys!
Just wondering, i got myself a THS elbow, front pipe & manifold for xmas, aint got round to fitting it yet because its just too god damn cold!
but, do i NEED to get myself a de-cat pipe, or can i fit it all on with the standard cat?
i bought my s15 a few months ago but recently i noticed when the car is cold and i put it in gear this rattle noise comes from what sounds like around the gear box for a few seconds but only when cold, and also when im driving the car cold or hot if i drive pass 3 thouands rpm and take my foot...
Looking for the plastic pipework from the s14,
that sits above the passenger side headlight.
I have the Apexi air induction with the Apex cold air box,
however it needs the cold air feed to finish it off.
Mine came with the HKS metal flow fitted, so i had no OEM air box
to start with
hey fellas,
has anyone got a DIY instruction template for making a cold air box (for s15) - i remember jumping on the net and finding it on this jap website..but i cant seem to find it...
or if not..any helpful hints as to DIY ?
cheers,
Jas,
This isn't the usual "moan about the cold uk weather" style thread.... it's more happy!!!
As i'm a plasterer.... freezing conditions means, i can't work cause basically.... the plaster goes like an ice sheet on the wall.... then falls off!! haha
So, it does mean i've only worked 2 days this...
Guys, how much pressure do you run on the track? - cold pressures please. From my experience, once the tyres heat up - they add about 5-6psi to the cold reading.
My tyres are 225/45/17 F and 245/49/17 rear. I usually run 35/36 on the road. I tried this on the track - no real probs but pressure...
Hello all,
Nice site. I drive a pewter AU s15. Pretty much stock except for Magnaflow catback. When my bank account allows, plan on getting hks split dump/front pipe, cold air intake, 18" rims, aero front bar (or decent copy). Cheers guys
What's yours on average?
I've been monitoring mine over two tanks of 97ron. Very sadly, ?110 had delivered just 500 miles  :( That's 20-mpg
Is this normal? I do a 10 mile run to work each morning and back in the evening. I occasionally take it out at lunchtime too but only 10 miles...
Who's put a cold air feed up to their Apexi power intake (or equivilent filter)?
Is it necessary, does it actually make a difference?
I've still got the stock air intake in place that was attatched to the filter box - this points vaguely in the direction of the Apexi - I'm not...
Gents,
Bling do cold air boxes for the 13and14 but nothing as yet for the 15 (but I did ask a while back). What is everyone else doing?
On most of the pics I notice - well I can't notice that anyone is doing anything?
I botched something last summer but want to do a proper job. Any ideas?
