newbie question
have a 99 silvia s15. recently i put in a intercooler,bov and k&n filter, and now i cannot hear the turbo spooling. is it normal? when my car was stock with just a cat back exhaust when i floor it i can hear the turbo now with thoose mods i can just hear the exhaust and it seems like i'm not...- mys15

Upgraded Downpipe

Ok I’m building an exhaust for my S15 SpecR and my questions are What is the best diameter to use? Is there meant to be a sensor near the cat mine has been removed and there is no sign of a sensor? JDM Cat Converter
Guys, I'm not sure whether anyone else has had this problem. I installed my dump and from pipe finally (with a little help), but because the hks front pipe was designed for the shorter JDM cats, it has pushed the rest of my exhaust back about 20mm. ok. Since my muffler on catback has gone dead, I'm going to replace it. I will still have my tip but I will get one resonator behind the cat. If you run a de-cat pipe on your S-15 will it fail the mot? i ask this because irrespective of a 300ZX age, when i took that to a garage they had to test it as a non cat equiped car because they have not details on the emmisions for that type. just wondering if it was the same for one of these?- Tethis
