Flushing water system ??
Right chaps , Quick question maybe a silly one. I want to change my anti freeze, now I have never done this before I have drained the rad etc before but there is always water/ anti freeze mix left in he header bottle... Right so more porblems :( got her back on the road only for the battery to start playing up a few days later,also i noticed the exhaust sounded a bit funny ,when i checked it over it appearrs one of the bolts just before the back box has snapped so as usual if it breaks upgrade it !! Exhaust gaskets
Quick question, can you use any 3" exhaust gasket for our cars or do they do uprated gaskets?? I could hear my exhaust was blowing a bit , when I went to investigate it seems the bolt just before the back box has snapped :wack:so have a nice gap between the pipes, I think I am going to replace...- pegliobaglio

will get some more pics when its all finished. There was a hole big enough to feed the wires through to the door pockets os have decided to mount my crossovers in there for now This was me the night before japfest! close but no cigar lol:down:- pegliobaglio

Gutted my silvia never made it to Japfest :down: In the mean time i have done a few little bit's anyways and as soon as i get a decent dry day she will be back on the road anyways!! Helicoil kits
Right chaps, as some of you may know I have a little problem. Fitted my Mani a few weeks ago, had a little water leak so removed it all and when I put it all back together the oil line ( block end) wouldn't tighten up it screws in but won't go tight if you get what I mean? Trail fitted one of the skirts today as it was too wet to get involved in anything else,and now I am thinking of carrying my black/grey them through the kit as well(know not everyone will like this but good to be different) kinda like the lambo sv styl with black skirts and vents on bumper.- pegliobaglio

Updates coming thick and fast lol Didn't intend to do as much as I did today but I am glad I did completely changed the way she drives! Thanks very much mate! Fingers crossed!!!!! Got the mani and lines all fitted back in today,and did the passenger side engine mount while I was at it. Not one to put things back rusty/dirty I sanded all the nuts down and the heat shield for the mount and sprayed them with zinc galvanising spray...- pegliobaglio

Test fitted the mani today to make sure all is well,very impressed with it! Gonna fit my uprated engine mounts before I fit it back though much easier acces with the mani/turbo out the way!!- pegliobaglio

Didn't have much time today,but managed to seperate the turbo and mani so all ready to get it all put back together now,just gotta work out the best way to fit the braided lines.anyway now comes the fun bit,upgrading!!!!- pegliobaglio

Well gave it another go today after getting a decent spanner and leaving the bolts to soak in wd over night and thankfully no problems,so now comes the fun bit! Uprating everything,hopefully have the new mani/water oil turbo braided lines in by the end of the week got a new o2 sensor as well,may...- pegliobaglio

Started to get into the dirty work! Removed my ic pipework and started trying to get my mani off,easier said than done though,doesn't look like its been removed since the day it left the factory! After a lot of grinding I managed to get the heat shield off and got 6 of the 8 mani to head studs...- pegliobaglio
