Exhaust popping and banging..
Whats everyones like for this? I have no idea what brand exhaust ive got but its a 3 inch system with a decat and middle box. Weight of car and suitable trolly jack?
I have a bog standard Drapper jack atm think its 1.5 tonnes.. But anyway I need to invest in a new jack so was wondering how much the S15's weigh? Silvia had its first tantrum today...
Okay went for a drive to Ironbridge today which is a good 20 miles from me but it played up a few times on the way.. Was thinking yesterday.. I went to BP to fill up the S15 with Ultimate as it was closer than Shell, (I tend to use Shell as its got the highest RON) But anyway BP's Ultimates were all closed so I went home as I had enough in still.. Revs drop
Seems it only does it when cold like after just setting off. When approaching a junction or traffic lights I tend to roll up and put it in neutral and then stop, but when I put it into neutral it drops to about 700 for a second or two then goes back up to normal 900 Any idea? Can someone shed some light - Arch protectors / liners?
On this red silvia are they arch protectors at the front and rear? as I look at other piks such as the white one below and there is no ridge..and personaly I think it looks better without..so can someone confirm if thats what they are and if they can be removed easy enough? Badges
Been looking at a nice S15 but the badges have been taken off, the S at the front on the bonnet is gone and the silvia badge at the rear has gone.. Is it possible to put these back on? SR20 Engine
Just a quick question guys. Been having a debate with a friend of mine about the SR20. He owns a Nissan GTIR and I was saying how the GTIR has the same engine thats in the S15 etc but he says its not, its actualy different..
