Holiday booked
Hooray! Got a small holiday booked for the beginning of October :D First break in 18 months. Just five days on the non-Chav side of Mallorca, but looking forward to it. Its a bugger when you don't get paid holidays and losing a week's work costs three times as much as a week's actual holiday :(...- Nicely

Nissan OEM Parts Suppliers (Japan)

Did you know that nearly every Nissan part that you buy over here in the UK can be got for around half the price (or more) in Japan? Indicator Relay
Can someone with immediate access to their S15 please go and take a look at the indicator relay for me? I need to know how many pins it has and, specifically, if it looks like this (not red). I think its in the footwell fuse box.- Nicely

Defi Link Oil Pressure Question
Fitted my Defi oil pressure and temp gauges at the weekend :D Noticed yesterday, though, that the warning light and buzzer for the oil pressure are on constantly after the engine is running. I know the warning goes off lower than what's set, but I set the warning at 8 bar and its going off...- Nicely

480cc injector flow-rate
There has been a bit of dispute recently (not on this forum) over the actual flow-rate of 480cc injectors. Some people will just blindly say its 480cc @ 3 bar. Someone has said that its 440cc @ 3 bar (based on what it now obviously an error in the PFC manual). One thing was certain - no-one knew... -

740s finally in!
Finally fitted the Nismo 740 injectors this morning :D All went smoothly except for having to pause between showers :rolleyes: Altered the Emanage injector adjustment, then started her up. Rough as hell and a weird whistling. Checked under the bonnet and discovered I'd missed putting the hose... -
Useful Defi cabling...
Just got my second Defi BF through and took a look at how to cable them with the Control Unit. Discovered that only the Control Unit has a Meter Cable of a length anywhere near being useful :rant: Both the meters have a Meter Cable 25cm, which is only of any use if they were all mounted right...- Nicely

FAST error after install
I'm sure this has been covered but I think it may have been on the old forum. A'PEXi has just installed FAST but is getting 'err 5, cd not found'. Who had this and how did you get round it? He's done the install correctly, including the NSFASTKY.INI... Running XP. -

Dash fog indicator
Noticed when I was changing bulbs in the main instrument dash unit that I had two redundant warning indicators. One for HICAS and the other for a fog light. Tried a bulb in it with the front fogs on, but it didn't work. Anyone have a working one?- Nicely

Racespec catch tank fitted
Pulled my finger out and fitted my Racespec oil catch tank today :D It confirmed that I really hate cutting-down braided hoses now... Anyway, looked good in the end. :thumbs:
