ABS light comming on?
Yesterday I experienced something strange. About 10s after a little more aggresive take-off my ABS light came on. The light was yellow. S15 in the wet
I just took the car out for a spin. It was raining abit and I can't believe how little grip the rear has as soon as it's a little wet outside. Is it just my car (running shitty tires). Or is it a general S15 thing? Exerienced some wheel-hop when wheelspinning in first. Second, third and fourth... -
High idle and no engine temp
refitted turbo and manifold today because the manifold to turbo gasket was exchanged. Fired the engine up and everything seemed to be OK. After I while a started to wonder why my idle wouldn't get any lower (stuck at about 1500rpm). Checked my oil temp gauge which was reading about 65 degrees...- Yakozan

Thinking about new rims. What do you think?
I'm thinking about buying new rims. A desperately need new tires for the SSR's but I can get a set of 17" BBS for about the same price (maybe even cheaper) then a set of tires. The BBS comes with good front tires and brand new rear ones. I will paint them black if I buy them :cool: This is... -

Checking turbo area for leaks.. how?
I've had some problems since I fitted my turbo-elbow (I think it started then). It had started to leak somewhere and I get the tractor sound when revving. Not fully sure if it's the dump-pipe or the manifold which is creating the leak. How can I tell without ripping the turbo and stuff out? I...- Yakozan

My first prize :)
I attended a small car meet this weekend with the S15 which a Car audio company (www.BRL.se) hosted. my car got third place (Peoples choice) out of about 30 or 40 cars :) Not bad for a stockish looking S15. Only exterior mods are the tinted rear indicators, SSR wheels and the Nismo side... -
Boost problem.
I went out and tried to setup the EBC yesterday and have some small problems with the boost. When I'm in 5-6th gear and floor it the car boost about 0.5Bar. This can be changed with the EBC though. Problem is that when the revs rise, so does the boost. It keeps doing it slowly to about 0.82Bar...- Yakozan

Nissan and Autech relationship?
What was the Nissan and Autech relationship? I know that Autech made some Nissan cars, like the Autech Spec-S S15, S15 Varietta, 4-door Skyline R33GTR and so on. Was Autech the same as AMG is for Mercedes? Or do they just take Nissan cars and rebuild them? I would think so if not the Varietta... -
