I picked up 14 carbon panels yesterday! Just need to get them all trimmed now and they will be ready to send

Thanks for delivering mine Craig, I've got it fitted this afternoon .

It fitted on fairly easily, I just had to file a couple of the holes a bit to give a little more clearance where the studs were a bit tight, and push a couple of plastic clips back through the slam panel a bit, but it was nothing major.

Very pleased with it I think it looks almost factory fit in the black fibreglass finish :nod:

Anyway, here's a quick pic I took to show it off

Out of interest, which holes needed the work? Just for future reference

The ones where the carbon canister fits were a tiny bit tight against the side of the studs, and the bonnet release lever was just touching the back of the hole. The plastic clips I had to push in are about 30mm outwards of the clips that hold the bonnet prop, but on the upright part of the slam panel. They were black ones holding the same wiring that the 2 clips in the middle also holds, so it's not going anywhere.

I wouldn't worry about it Craig, all of our cars aren't going to be exactly the same, and it might have been a perfect fit on another one. It was only a minimal bit of adjustment to get it to go on without dragging down the side of the studs.

I doubt that anybody would buy a fireglass/carbon product and expect it to be an exact fit straight off without a little work .

I had to make some changes to the original plan but everybody else should get their panel this month.

got mine craig small problem the 3 holes at the front for the clips to attach to the front bumper dont line up the nearly 1/2 an inch off and the panel seems to be slightly twisted aswell anyone else have any of these problems ?

Sorry, only just saw this post. The holes are defiantly in the right place mate. They have all been cut exactly the same and are identical to the original. What front bumper do you have?

What do you mean by twisted too? Nobody else has had any of these problems so far. If you want a panel without the front 3 holes in (so you can cut them yourself in the right place) then you can send me your panel back and I'll send you another without the holes.
