how hard was it to fit the r34 gtr rim?
With the R34 GT-R rims, it really depends on your suspension. Stock suspension they clear fine. Aftermarket is another story - I'm running Cusco Zero 2E's and I needed to run a 3mm spacer on the fronts as it was rubbing the collar.

In terms of tyres I've got 235/40/R18 all round. Hope that helps! :)

Thanks for quick reply :)

alright..I have an aftermarket shock so it may requires me to do modification to the guard? I've been told that you need to roll the guards to be able to fit them?

Thanks

Ah apologies, I also had to rub the rear gaurds as it rubs slightly when there is decent suspension travel.

Yeah I did a slight roll on the fender to clear with mine. I had s stock Nismo S15 shock and spring setup that gave the car an instant 1.5-2" drop.

Finally put my car all back together after installing the new GReddy Short runner intake plenum. Took a little longer as I got alot of items powdercoated in crinkle black, looks kind factory lol. Also modified the injector wiring harness so it could be tucked away. Overall happy with it, looks much cleaner and seems zippier according to my arse dyno. Here's some pics:

Decided to take some photos to show the progression from 2006 to 2010. Used the same location and angles to illustrate this better. I'll do another round later in the year when I have the Vertex Ridge bodywork, Work Meisters S1's and interior completed. Until then enjoy!

nice looking good. If you don't mind me asking did you paid full price for the nismo cluster? I'm looking for a 2nd hand one but they are pretty rare..

also any tips on fitting the wind deflectors? I can't seem to get the plastic gaurd off to get at the screws.

cheers..

The Nismo cluster was ~ $500 (Australian) new a couple years back.

For the wind deflectors, I think I posted some basic installation steps early in thread when I did it. I don't recall any issue with getting gaurds off. Just take your time with it, make sure you prep the surface and line it up properly as once it sticks down they ain't coming off easily.
