Just type SOL Helmets on Google search bar... There shld be one.. Taiwan based but the pics I've sent you guys is not in the website, as a matter a fact is not sold in the market yet. Only thru R3 Motorosport you can get it. This is the only helmet produce by SOL which is FIA approved.

The SOL helmet tat u mentioned, is it this one ah? white color & price is RM 950? Any chance tat going cheaper?

Simpsons helmets do look good as well but I like BELL.. haha. Personal preference I guess.
Do you know where to get Bell helmets in Malaysia or Singapore ?

Yo Blather Nick, I've checked couple of places specialized in Auto Racing Helmets but no luck for any BELL Helmets lahh.. But i found an address selling Bell Bike Helmets on the net. Looks like M'sia has a authorised dealer for bike helmets.

Yo Chin,

measure your head size, the measuring tape shld wrap 1 round starting from your forehead & back. The measuring tape shld be place above your ears.

XL - 61cm - 62cm
L - 59cm - 60cm
M - 57cm - 58cm
S - 55cm - 56cm

Since the HPC is getting us sexcited... come over for a TT tonite and discuss :

1) Helmets, shoes, gloves,
2) Bucket/Semi-Bucket seats,
3) Methods of cooling the SR on track,
4) Semi-slick tyres,
4) Getting our Silvia Shirts ready by then. I'm sacking the V-sixers supplier and now working with another supplier. Very positive we can move ahead with it now.
5) There is a suggestion also to go TOM stickers and customise our own design... open for ideas eg. "Its better to wear out than to rust out"... etc.

I'll be at the same place anyway tonight. Anybody feeling like needing company to yak, do drop by...

I have got the shirt size samples. Please come this Thursday TT to try out especially the ladies. From the way it looks, we need to up one size bigger eg. size M upsize to L etc. If you want to embroider your names, its better to do it on the collared button-down shirts as the wordings reads better than the polo shirts. Of course it will cost more. Need to decide quickly on this.

No problem Chin. We can meet in Subang Parade since my office is next to it say about 7pm-ish? For now, I'll settle for some terror mat-rempit helmets instead. :rotfl: Need to keep the SR20DET cool otherwise I can only do 1 flying lap in Sepang without overheating. :yawn:

Its only sizing sample, not the final one but the design is somewhat similar like the one posted earlier.

I also suggest removing the thermostat completely allowing water run all the time. Top & bottom Radiator plate will help too..
& make sure your radiator fan motor is in good working condition, alu radiator also a very good idea indeed.

colin: wat time u'll be there? maybe ill buka puasa at kayu if ur there 7 ish...

alu rad is a good way to cool down ur engine. heck, it even indirectly lowers down ur oil temp too. another diy alternative is to raise ur bonnet ala drift style. put a nut or washer on ur hood bracket and hot air will escape efficiently
