Had a TT with my fellow silvian bro Jason a.k.a Bvalve in Seremban on Saturday night. He managed to get an EVO 4, 7, 8 and 350Z to meet as well...we had our usual kopitiam session and wangan after that...
we convoyed from Seremban 2 and reached the Taman Permai traffic lights...my beloved S15, the EVO 7 and 350Z all lined up to take off at the traffic lights...when the light turned green, the EVO 7 took off first followed by the 350Z and me after that...from 1st to 2nd gear i was about half a car length from the EVO (i had already smoked the 350Z by then :thumbs
by this time we were all doing well over 170km/h and i hit 5th afterthat and i was leading the pack...we arrived at another traffic light in town...this time, there was an unknown 350Z and RX-8 who were itching to drag with us...
again we set off with blistering pace weaving in and out of traffic in town...at one point, i hit full throttle in 2nd gear and could feel the back tyres spinning frantically and the tail stepped off line..i had to catch it back with some counter steer...wow, the feeling was amazing and we all managed to keep up with the rest of the pack...
due to some traffic lights in town, some were left behind, so they just decided to call it quits after that...me and jason just drove around and later stopped at the mamak for a bite...
we finally, finished about 3pm and left for home...i was still smitten by the whole experience and i got say we will surely do this again in the near future...
kudos to nissan for creating the lightning bolt!

yeah was really fun man :wack:...but always watch your temp when going flat out i.e 250km/h when boosting above 0.8 bar...the SR does get hot and just to need to ease off the loud pedal and your temp will come back to normal...looks like i must start saving for an aftermarket radiator and oil cooler to overcome this issue...

I like the part when we came back on a 3 lane Putrajaya highway, 2 cars on the left lane, 2 on the middle lane and 2 on the right lane... If only Bo's came with his S15, it will complete the well synchronised S15 convoy and win an Olympic gold medal for it...

Was that night fun or was it FUN??!
I set a new personal best.. over 250kmh sustained. Somehow the car felt real smooth at that speed. It was almost sureal... almost EUPHORIC! As if we entered a different dimension. A dimension where no ordinary cars can go... heheheeee
My readings:
1) Inj Duty Cyc : 94.5%
2) Water Temp : 85 deg C
3) Oil temp: 91 deg C
4) Speed : over 250 km/h sustained
5) Knock : 30 ish max
Daryl mentioned that if the stock temp meter on dashboard goes above the usual mark, means it is over 100 degrees C.
So we better upgrade our coolin as much. After all, i believe over heating is the biggest killer for sr20s...
